I just love her expression. It's just like,
"What? I see you looking at my lying here, I know you're looking at me. Don't think I can't kill you, I can. What? Don't believe me? Don't think I can get out of this enclosure? I've been doing that ever since I got here! I can escape here anytime I want, it bores me now!"

hehehe its funny because she was asleep, Zane is normaly indifferent to the public and hard to get photos of, and then a troup of boy scouts had a foot race down a hill right past her enclosure where I was shooting, screaming their heads off, and that woke her up! Hence the irritated look I think.
I was also irritated on her behalf at the adults who where meant to be controlling the scouts though. Its a zoo not a playground!

I'm afraid packs of hyperactive kids running around zoos is just a fact of life. And seeing as how most of the money the zoos take in comes from kids admission fees anyway, I guess it's something we just have to put up with.

hehe true but this was on another level, it was like, scout troop day at the zoo so there was about 100 kids running past this exhibit in one go, I'd never seen anything like it in a zoo! Other than that they were actually very well behaved, guess the scout leaders wanted them all to burn off some energy before they got on the bus home!

Youch... That is a lot worse than your average unruly pack of school kids.
And I think the scoutmasters had a good strategy going.
