Description
A black highland cow bullock eyes me up at the scottish deer center. Believe it or not, most highland cows were orignially bred black (or so I'm told).Related content

hmm, most of the images i saw they were rust coloured, and i thought it was their usual colour. when i went to Scotlans, i saw only one from far, and it was light beige colour which was unusual, didn't know they have them in black too

Wow. I thought all Highland Cows were that orange color. So maybe that's the source of the legendary "Black Bull" of Irish mythos.
Very cool shot!
