"Because she kind of deserves it..."Seriously, I like Beldam as a villainous character, but I do get very annoyed by how she treats Vivian. I understand her role as the eldest sister and that she feels the need to be in control of the situations, but I don't think she needs to take it as far as she does. I was replaying Paper Mario and The Thousand Year Door and I literally screamed this at the game. Then I realized that it would make a perfect stamp. Surely I can't be the only one who dislikes her behavior towards her sister. Can I? Well, we can see.
This is essentially how things go: "I, Beldam, have a wonderful plan to take down Mario!" 'Oh no, I lost my -insert whatever Beldam lost here-. Wait a minute. I can't admit to losing shit. That would be our of character. Quickly, blame someone else!' "Vivian, you moron, how could you lose my -whatever Beldam lost-? I must punish you horribly!" *Five Minutes Later* "It was in my non-existent pocket the entire time! Jeeze, Vivian, stop losing shit in my pockets!"
At least, that's my opinion. Do as you will.

I want to see some recreate this scene right here, but replace Luffy with Vivian and the one being punched with Beldam.

Ahhh, I hate that little shit myself. My most hated female Mario boss...Ever. Not just because of her annoying attacks, but as you said, being downright abusive. Her actions and even her EXISTENCE to me are completely unforgivable.

I would certainly have to agree with you. I mean, I know she's the eldest sister and thus feels like she has to watch over Marilynn and Vivian, but the fact that she constantly blames and aggressively punishes Vivian for her own mistakes is just awful. I understand punishing someone if they did something wrong, but Vivian never actually messed up ANYTHING in the game. Aside from that, abuse is never alright.

I think we're better off not knowing. All I know is every time I fight the Shadow Sirens (be it with Vivian or Doopliss) I always kill Beldam first just to laugh at the fact that she died first and therefore failed the most.

Aaahh same. People say get Marilyn out but Beldam's ffreeze attack possibly means game over if you miss the timing (2nd fight, can't recall if you could freeze in 1st).

She can use freeze attacks in the first fight, but is less likely to do so. I mostly don't like her status inducing moves. Especially since she seems to have wonderful timing powering up Marilynn on the same turn Marilynn is charging every time I fight her.

IKR, especially when Beldam uses the "x2 attack turns" move on Marilyn. -_- This is one reason I play the game at low HP (I've actually gone through the game with only 10 HP just recently) and spam upgrades on BP, so I could do serious damage to Beldam before her annoyance comes into play. Then again, that is being overpowered in my part, but still.

Ever since my first playthrough, I always use the exact same strategy when it comes to level ups. I get myself to 15 HP before fighting Hooktail. Spam BP upgrades. Usually have around 20FP. Then right before the Palace of Shadow, I throw one more HP upgrade to reach 20, then go right back to BP. I've gotten pretty good at superguards, so I work around with badges.

I at first used the traditional HP, FP, and BP upgrade in that order, but as I got better I just spammed BP upgrades.
