First of all, I know the picture is terrible. I just wanted to draw up something really quickly and I couldn\'t find any tortillions... -__-; Oh well. I may later go and do a better version.Anyway, I was sitting outside a couple of weeks ago and listening to my iPod when the song \"You\'ll Be In My Heart\" from Tarzan came on, and the idea suddenly struck me that I\'ve spoken similar words to God and I started singing this song to Him and it felt like he was singing with me. An amazing feeling. I hope you can get the same out of it as I did.
God- Come stop your crying it will be alright, just take my hand, hold it tight. I will protect you from, all around you. I will be here don\'t you cry. For one so small, you seem so strong, my arms will hold you keep you safe and warm. This bond between us, can\'t be broken. I will be here don\'t you cry. Cause you\'ll be in my heart, yes you\'ll be in my heart, from this day on, now and forever more. (This part initially reminded me of the day when I decided to let God into my life.)
Me- You\'ll be in my heart, no matter what they say. You\'ll be in my heart, always. Why can\'t they understand the way we fell? (This is the part in my life where I ask God why people don\'t understand Christians and my faith, it frustrates me and saddens me and I still don\'t understand it.)
God- They just don\'t trust, what they can\'t explain.
Me- I know we\'re different but, deep inside us, we\'re not that different at all. And you\'ll be in my heart, yes you\'ll be in my heart from this day on, now and forever more. (Again, pertaining to the nonbelievers.)
God- Don\'t listen to them, cause what do they know?
Me- We need each other, to have to hold on. (I need God in my life.)
God- They\'ll see in time, I know. When destiny calls you, you must be strong. I many not be with you, but you\'ve got to hold on. (I do NOT believe in destiny, I just couldn\'t think of something better to change the lyrics to.)
Me- They\'ll see in time, I know.
Both- We\'ll show them together
God- Cause you\'ll be in my heart.
Me- Yes you\'ll be in my heart.
God- From this day on, now and forever more.
Both- Oh, you\'ll be in my heart, no matter what they say. You\'ll be in my heart, always. Always...

I like the portrayal. Even though you didn't include the hands, I really feel that was for the best and that it would take away from the image. the shading is dealt with nicely too.
I love the concept of the idea too. Never thought of that song that way. I like how you changed the meanings around too. I'm sure you know that God does not need us but chooses us and it is our place to follow. ^_^ You're insightfulness speaks to that in the "I don't believe in destiny" thing, but God does have a purpose for us, that's why He created us.
I also want to encourage you in the fact that God will never leave you. You are His precious child and He is in your heart. (as far as how to take that destiny line)

Thanks, that makes me feel better, but I may still go back and touch it up sometime. Keep practicing! I went through and looked at some of my work from 2006 till now. It's kind of cool to see how much I've improved, especially in anatomy. ...I'll stop ranting now...
