my half of a trade withher half:
her lion/tiger oc Dakota,
i didnt know what scene to put him in so i drew him walking away from somthing looking annoyed during sunset,
i actually really like this picture its probebly the best iv done so far,
but i know there are stll alot of mistakes

I know that you didn't design the character, but I just wanted to say the red, blue, and green colors on it look very bad for the color scheme. The other colors in the background are nice, but the background's blurriness in contrast with the character's cartoon and structured lines didn't come together well, since the character doesn't look like it's actually there, and doesn't connect with it's environment besides shading(it looks like it's floating). However, the pink sunset looks very nice, and looks good with the mountains in the background.
Also, I know you didn't make the character, but the lion's features are too similar to the way the lion king designed it's characters, which makes it appear to be some kind of strange fanart.

So beautiful ... this is one of my favorite pieces of yours. :3 The sunset sky is gorgeous, as is everything in the background. Daww, how could he be annoyed with such a lovely scene behind him? XD Lovely shading and subtle lighting make Dakota look incredible ... oh, question! Do you use gradient shading?

The shading, pose and expressions are awesome! You really need to make a shading and background tutorial... because I would definitely use them!
