In all honesty there's nothing seriously wrong this piece, it's actually inventive in it's usage of so many elements gathered into one project. The character's design is interesting, the ritual props are nicely placed. All that really annoies me is the following:
1, The tree branches are suspicious in that they're blurred and not fully shaded. 2, the stars in the sky are too apparent, when you look at a night sky, you'll see the stars vanish the closer you get to the horizon. 3, the moon is suffering from the problem of blurr too! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="24" height="18" alt="
" title="CURSE YOU!" />
But as I said earlier, the piece isn't bad. I actually like the effort placed into the main focus: the character, and though said character seems off in that it's stiff and not doing much but staring, I know how an artist feels when they've put so much work and time into a certain area of a piece and only then realize the mistake or missing element.
In the end, a clever character design and enviroment concept, the artist just has to slow down and put detail into all the right areas, then again, the artist may have been pressed for time to meet the Halloween deadline, so all's fair from my perspective. CHEERS!! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/d/d⦠" width="21" height="15" alt="

Dawww!!!
Halloween and my OC Kiwi could be friends, maybe. Kiwi's a reddish- pink she-cat with green toes, black speckles on her tail, and big green wings. I haven't drawn her yet, though
I love this piece. It's like... wow!

I'm just going to focus on one thing this time (I've been gone for a while and have 800 pics to look through.) The fire is simply amazing. The glow is neat and the dynamism of the flame is simply incredible.

She looks AWESOME
I actually really like the slightly "blurred" look of the tree's, it really makes you focus on her, instead of the background.
I REALLY love this! so much... I can't even begin to describe all the things I like about it!
THe background is awesome, (as always! ^_-)
Her coloring is so cool, and I'm totally in love with the pose. she looks so natural, and comfortable.
The contrast of the blue fur, and red accents is so neat, It really makes her POP! right off the page. ^___^
That full moon is beautiful. Do you just draw your moons freehand?? or do you use reference pictures?
One great detail is the candles. The melting wax looks awesome. XD
I really like how you handled the forshortening of her back left paw too. that is SO hard to do, and you did beautifully!
I love your work so much. <3
