I think the shading on savage is awesome. He looks really cool.
I love how dark the background is too.
It really makes it feel like Gabriella shouldn't be there.

Sorry, I couldnt draw this, but if I was looking this at an expert point of view (lol) there is very little to improve on, except-
The background is a little too simple. I think you did this to put focus on the amazing characters, I understand this.
And your character Gabrielle, looks a little like shes been stuck on the picture, not sitting on the tree. Might be because her colours are so bright and create a fab contrast!
It is excellent though, that would be being extremely nitpicky! sorry!

gabriella dose look a little like shes been stuck on,but i didnt know how to blend her with the tree,i didnt think of the grass but yeah they should have more colour variations,
as for the simple background,its sometimes better than an overly distracting one

The shading isn't that bad, and I wouldn't never noticed any sloppy impatience even if you told me of it.
