Description This is the Raven that I caught earlier today. At first I thought s/he was shot, but when I looked closer at him/her, and had help from the Veterinary clinic, it turns out that her/his wing was actually broken. By what or who I can only assume. But I would guess s/he lost a fight with another Raven, hit a house, or perhaps took a landing wrong.

Overall s/he was pretty docile considering s/he was a wild animal. S/he did not try to attack me or harm me after catching it, and interestingly did not 'caw' or shrill when I approached it.

S/he was definitely scared so I did back off when I got him/her into the garage, I got her some water and food (a banana and some corn chips).

The Raven was really big, and very cautious. Even as I held it. Those are my hands covered in gloves. It was interesting because when I picked it up the first time (without gloves) it did not attack me. And a bunch of Ravens, probably from the same flock, surrounded me and 'cawed' lightly. Perhaps they were angry, perhaps they were curious...

I've moved back in with my parents after the incident, and school is over now so I can keep writing. The current chapter is on its second draft, though there will probably be a few more before I post it. Other than that I am drawing and playing again, so things are looking up.

How are you doing over there in Malaysia?Β

In Malaysia, school holidays coming to an end. It starts from the month of November until early January. Here also, the rainy season and flooding has already begun..

About myself, I just finished my comics (114 pages) and it published in the local newspaper. This is time break for me..

Wow! Congratulations on that! Really, that's quite the accomplishment! Then next part of my book is nearly done. Should only be a few more days now...

And I hope that nothing important is lost to the flooding, where I live we get a bit of snow and everything freezes solid.

about the weather and seasons, its different situation between different country..

flooding is hitting the east coast malaysia.. and that is our village.. and i dont know if we can return to our hometowns during the school holidays..

I am aware, though I hope the flooding does not adversely effect you or your family.

It is slowly coming along, and I am loving how it is turning out, although as I progress I am beginning to realize that even now all that I have posted will eventually be outdated, in other words, its all one big rough draft.

And I must admit that I am looking forward to improving on it once it is done.

Sorry I took so long to reply, had to clear out my inbox and get everything re-organized as I get ready for the next semester.

No the proposal doesn't bother me at all. And I know that it won't be an issue because the artist stated that people may use her work for such things, just not commercially.

Although I am curious, but I have to admit, I don't have any money. And I liked that picture that your dauther did of Poo.

To answer your questions, no I no longer have her, she's living in a sanctuary for birds with broken wings. I see her sometimes. Cool thing is that she reconizes me. It is still alive.

It was quite the experience. There was an intelligence to him/her that made it really interesting to watch as well. It's living in a sanctuary now. I have been visiting it every other week.

The fun part is that it recognizes me. Or at least that is what the people tell me. I'm inclined to believe them.
