I love Halo. it's awesome.
This was very experimental, and one of the most time consuming things i've done so far. One of those things you start doing months ago and every so often go back to do a bit more. I was really happy with the initial line art, not sure i pulled off the coloring though. Still somewhat of a novice in that department.
I just needed something to distract me from my current Mass effect addiction.
Plus! I really can't wait to get the new Halo. It shall be mine. Oh yes. it shall! I'm sure a lot of you guys are drooling all over your keyboards at all the concept art and trailers online. I know i am. It sits there at night... taunting you. It haunts your dreams. It beckons to you like a hot girl who is out of your league. I must have it. Although, I am apprehensive since it's not Bungie. So it could either be awesome, Or there will be months of viral nerd rage ahead of us all. Tried to get the mjolnir armor as precise as poss. so hopefully did it at least some justice.
EDIT: wow. This went all the way to being featured on Waypoint. woah. Don't know what to say. Huge thanks to ~ZZoMBiEXIII , and ~bsangel for everything. Really no words to express my appreciation enough guys.

I'm sitting in class right now in a big seminar-style class room and the echo from singing the Halo Combat Evolved Theme is almost as wonderful as all the awkward stares being sent in my direction.

I live my life with the firm belief that if you're not getting awkward stares from at least a half dozen people a day, you're just not living life. You are definitely doing it right my friend. Damn. I also posses a lightsaber yet lack the necessary means in order to wear it on a daily basis without difficulty. Although, this hasn't stopped me from doing it anyway, regardless of impracticality. I also have an orange Arkham Asylum jumpsuit of my own creation which i wear on occasion. It tends to brings out my creative side.

I need orange jumpsuit pants; I want cosplay a Borderlands Psycho at the airsoft field I play at since my call-sign is "Psycho." Also, one of my professors berated me today because my lightsaber is store bought, not home-made >_>

Sounds like an awesome professor to be honest. I usually had to explain to mine what I was wearing. Sad thing, most of them never even heard of halo. 
I really want a psycho mask, take pictures! I also use my jumpsuit to double up as Portal cosplay, as long as i tie it around my waste so the Arkham asylum symbol is hidden. I just dress up whenever i feel like it. You should see the neighbors reactions when it's a zombie day.

Ha yeah. I only mentioned that in the descrip. because it seems there are still people out there who think gender dictates what games you play and how well you play them... Pfft! Like F**k!
I don't usually take any notice or make any fuss over it, since I'm not pathetic enough to waste my time that way, and usually too busy actually playing games to give a damn, but it's just gotten to me lately for some reason. Sorry, a mini rant there for you. ^^ And don't say that about your work, once we all were (and i still am) novices of the art world. So continue!

And thank you for making the Chief and 'tana look so amazing. Love the detail, the armor is completely accurate and the coloring is perfect. This is truly a great piece of work. I'm sure you don't need me to say this, but you should be VERY proud of this piece.
