What if after the Grand Magic Games, Jellal through depression of losing Ultear since she sacrificed herself to save everyone from the Dragon threat. Jellal tried to get through to it, as Meredy began staying with Fairy Tail Guild and Jellal alone wandered the area lost in thought and filled with depression of unable to save anyone, and knowing that Meredy probably be happier in Fairy Tail than with him.

Jellal ended up surfing on a beach trying to clear his mind, as he enjoyed the waves and sunlight, unknown to him he was in Mermaid Heel territory where he was seen by rest of Mermaid Heel, they noticed he is deep into surfing and not noticed anything in the beach. Since in their land area has a low tolerance for boys being allowed in due to the guild being an all female guild. Soon he lay on the surfboard and drift to the beach and got up, and began walking away now bumping into Millianna and Kagura, still angry at Jellal since even if they know that Jellal was possessed by Ultear they still don't like Jellal, but they saw Jellal's depressed face and...empty expression. They felt worry and confusion as they talked to Jellal but could not fully get the information since Jellal kept quiet and often meekly muttered that he is better of gone. Kagura however realised that Jellal might be innocent and had Jellal go with Millianna in a cat festival instead of her, Millianna surprised accepted Jellal but with uncertainty.

During the festival Jellal now dressed in normal clothes and with Millianna by his side hanged out and soon began to bond with each other as Jellal showed a much happier side to him, as such Millianna began seeing the Jellal she knew from the past and the two had very much fun. Jellal won and bought Millianna many stuff even toys, cat girl clothes and many things. Millianna however bought Jellal stuff and told him that he needs to be happy. Where Millianna put cat ears on Jellal and had pictures taken to always remember this event.

They walked back to Mermaid Heel Guild and Millianna gave Jellal a goodbye kiss on the lips surprising each other. Then soon began a series of dates between Jellal and Millianna, where they became lovers where Meredy is happy for Jellal. Jellal found out Meredy is dating Lyon though he was annoyed but soon accepted it since his daughter (Jellal sees Meredy as a daughter since both him and Ultear basically raised Meredy) and both of them found happiness.
