This may get really confusing so please bear with me! Hahaa and also, everyone can have their own perspective on it so I may not be 100% correct but I will try my best (: (:
The DWC (Dark Woods Circus) series is
based off of these following videos in the correct order: Tower of Sunz, Steel Cage Princess, Wide Knowledge of the late, Madness, DWC, Blue Ice Castle, Song of Hell, and finally Guard and Scythe. It's based off of a "murderous" woman, who is pchyco. Hahaa in Tower of Sunz, it is like a prelude to the series. (This is the most confusing video to me, and I still cannot interpret the meaning well enough to tell so I might send you a note later if I ever find out (: ). Some say that Steel Cage Princess does not belong in this series, but I see it as how Miku is feeling, in her mind, how the "Queen" is controlling her and how much power she has over Miku. (kind of like an internal battle). The Queen appears to be MEIKO but that is up to opinion. In this video, Miku is losing what little sanity she has left. You then see her in what appers to be a mental ward in Wide Knowledge of the Late, Madness. Again, it seems as MEIKO is the "mastermind" behind whatever she has in store, being the freak circus in DWC. Miku ia being shown as a very innocent and unknowing girl. Part of her sees the danger in being at the ward, seeing people like Len and Rin in the ward. They are all slowly going mad and being formed into freaks, Len's head is chopped off and sown to his twin sister, Rin's body, KAITO has turned into a cannibal, and Miku has turned into what seems to be "half goat half human" (bit she could be a ram as well, not sure which) and the chairman of the DWC bought them and took them in, as animals, and put them in a freak show. In DWC, a young girl is invited to the freak show, and being curious, she decides to go. Upon going, she encounters the chairman deep in the forest, welcoming her. She then goes into the tent, and sees KAITO eating human arms, Len and Rin entertaining people, and Miku singing, claiming she is a deformed diva. After the show seems to be closed for the day, she looks through a hole in the tent seeing how they are all suffering and rotting. Len is in love with Miku and he wishes he could save her, and they bot claim that they want to die. Rin is showing the more insane side of the twins and claims that she loves it here in the circus. But at the end, it shows how they are all slowly giving up at life. The next video is Blue Ice Castle, a couple of months after DWC. This is when Miku escaped with her lover, and most people say that it is either KAITO or Len. But she murders her lover by pushing him down a flight of stairs. (she is quite insane at this point) and you can see that in this video, the ring she wore as semblance to her marriage with him ends up killing her, when really she committed suicide. Then she goes to Red Swamp Bottom, or as I call it, Song of Hell. Tis is showing you her journey in he'll and the deal she makes with the devil (I think) and then it shows Guard and Schythe when she becomes a guardian for the gates of Hell. Mainly, this is about the song creators turmoils in life and they use things as metaphors, such as deformed diva, which realistically resembles something else. This is just what I have taken for the videos though (: I am sure that if you search it on google that you will find MANY different interpretations (: (: I really hope I helped!!
