Description
I've been trying for a while to get a satisfactory picture of Lyrielle and Vilkas in his wolf form; this is something of an illustration for the next part of the Skyrim fic I've posted here, so hopefully it'll be up soon-ish...
Also, my first attempt at a background that isn't photo-manipulation! Landscapes were never really my thing and I'm here and there about the lighting...

This is pretty amazing. I like their interaction between each other, and how Vilkas still has his grumpy facial expression. Though can't blame him, he never seemed to enjoy being a werewolf from what I gathered in game. Anyway, amazing work and adding to my favourites.Β

Thanks! I was trying to capture something, to make a bit of an illustration for the next part of that story I keep meaning to put up o.O And yes, poor Vilkas... he's kind of stuck like that right now!

I really like the eye contact between the two. The lighting looks pretty consistent to me, but what I'm noticing is that your background has a lot going on. You have two peaks (mountains or clouds) that are happening on either side in back and since you have your focus on the figures, where it should be, maybe simplifying some of this would help? I think the moonlit clouds and a bit of visible stars like whats in the background center works better with the lighting you've used in the foreground. Overall, I'd say your first background went pretty well!

Thank you for the feedback! Yeah, I was a little dubious about the mountains, maybe the one on the right could have been knocked out and replaced with that lovely Skyrim sky... either way, your feedback has been helpful
