Description
"Sequel picture" To the one I have of Mercury with Sailor Moon just to show what they look like next to each other. Now with Mars, I can have them together in a group shot. So here we have the three we originally had for most of the beginning of the series, as Lita/Makoto didn't awaken as Sailor Jupiter until a lot later on, and Mina/Minako did not join the others until much later after despite being awakened before anyone else.
From this picture, everyone pretty much looks the same height. I'm not so sure, but Rei is somewhat taller than Usagi/Serena, which she is supposed to be, but it isn't as noticeable. I can't really tell all that well since Mars is so difficult to stand up. The only way I can have her stand up is if I have her lying against something, like a wall or another toy or figure. Sadly, I think it's a combination of her long luxurious hair making her back heavy and her high heels make it slightly more difficult for her to stand. Ami and Usagi don't have the problem since they wear very solid heeled boots. Jupiter might not have this problem when she is released as she wears boots as well, but then she also has long hair tied in a ponytail, so I don't know if it'll make her back heavy as well. Venus most likely might suffer from this, as she also has very beautiful long hair plus she wears a different style of high heeled shoes.
On an unrelated note, on a picture I put up of Mars with a red lightsaber, I joked that only she, Mercury, and Jupiter would have matching sabers unless Saturn would be released and if I got a Mace Windu figure. Well, as of a few hours ago, they actually announced Saturn would be made and released sometime after Jupiter. I don't know when, but they have the prototype figure ready, and so far she looks very good. I like how she had she staff/glaive (which she should, or else I'd be disappointed and most likely so would many other fans), and I really like how they've sculpted her hair. I can't wait until we see closer to the finished product. Hopefully if I can get her, who knows if maybe I could get ahold of a purple lightsaber for her to hold just for kicks, but if not, oh well, it's not the end of the world.
Also with that said, if they do intend to make everybody, it means I will have to cut back on some stuff. I've already decided to cut back on Hero Factory stuff. The Brain Attack line kind of disappointed me, and these new sets for 2014 don't really have much to offer me. As I said with the Bionicle playsets, I don't entirely see myself getting those. Plus from some reviews I have seen, they don't seem too great in terms of playability. Not to mention I just like collecting action figures as you can see, and the playset would have no place aside from a storage bin, and frankly I don't like doing that with my things.
Also with the new "Simplified" Transformers coming out, I might end up cutting back on Transformers again. I've seen some of the stuff they're planning on putting out for the Movie line, and so far it leaves me feeling utterly disappointed. That leader class Optimus from Amazon is just a disgrace. They ruined what could have been an awesome "Knight" kind of concept and ruined it with a camping backpack and the fact that Optimus drives himself in truck mode. And that chrome... And then a lot of some of these newer toys I've seen are more geared towards littler kids anyway. There's this Ultra Magnus-looking Optimus Prime who looks like one of those Transformers to crash into something and they end up in Robot Mode or whatever it was. And then there's this $80 Grimlock toy that sounds like either it's like an imaginext competitor or something you can let kids get on an ride because Optimus does that in the trailer. Either way, at least I can cut back and almost not feel bad. I had to do that in 2006 for various reasons, and looks like I'll have to again. I might get whatever from the Generations line that interests me, but that will be it. Times are getting tough and while there's a lot of things I'd like to get, I need to cut back somewhere, and while it might sound weird or even "stupid" to a lot of people, I honestly do want to get as many of these Sailor Moon figuarts figures as I can.
That's all I got to say about that. Sorry this picture contains a rant, but I'm kind of infamous for rambling off and making rants with points I like to get out of the way. Anyways, enjoy the picture of these three very cute-looking action figures.

That definitely are. And I'm really hoping to get them all, if not get close.

Yup. I hope they make the outer senshi too. I know they have shown off Saturn/Hotaru. But I'm wondering about Neptune/Uranus/Pluto. I am really hoping they make them. Already have Venus Pre-ordered and when Jupiter goes up for pre-order I'll have her on pre-order too.
Do you have any issues with yours? Paint apps issues or anything? I have a little bit in some places but it's not overly bad.
Here is a pic of mine how they currently are.

I am hoping as well, since I mean they wouldn't truly be complete without everyone. I'm thinking most of it hinges on if the first 5 initial figures are successful to ensure that it'd be okay to make the rest. This is just a theory, but if they release Saturn (and of course, they are), then they ought to release Pluto as well because at least in the eyes of most fans, you can't really separate those two. And then Uranus and Neptune are also very popular characters, and plus if you put one of them out but not the other.... well, you can image how many angry fans there will be raging at them, seeing as it would be an utter crime to separate those two.
I already have Venus on pre-order, and whenever the put Jupiter out (Possibly July to coincide with the new anime) I'll make sure to get her as well. As for paint issues, on Sailor Moon there seems to be a slight "paint crack" near her left hip, but nothing noticeable. As for Mars, there appears to be a scratch near her right rib area. also, there was a loose piece of purple plastic on the ribbon on her chest, but that came off easily. Mercury has no issues with the paint applications and virtually fine. So nothing too major that you'd even notice, unless you look hard enough.
That there is a very awesome display. I wish I could have gotten some of those other MP figures. For now, Optimus and Thundercracker are the only ones I got. Although Thundercracker I have in a temporary storage.

Yeah it most likely does depend on the sale of the first ones. Which I've heard (not officially) that they are doing really well on them. (Could be why we saw Saturn already.) It just seemed weird they would skip Neptune/Uranus/Pluto and go right to Saturn. Maybe they want to do Saturn and then Chibi Moon. I don't know. But if we are getting Saturn (And we should be) then it gives hope for Neptune/Uranus/Pluto. And like you said if they make Neptune most likely they wont not make Uranus. I guess then the only up in the air one would be Pluto. (Might be an issue since she is the tallest I believe).
It's weird we both have issues on Moon and Mars but Mercury is practically flawless... I wonder if that is common and if so how come Mercury got off so good? Hmm... My Moon has some issue on the hip of the torso too but it is usually under the part where the outfit goes under the skirt piece. So unless I plan on doing extreme stretching poses or something you wouldn't see it. I am not sure if the white paint is coming off or if blue is rubbing onto it. It is weird and I haven't messed with it enough to see in more detail. Why would the torso be blue under the white? Doesn't really make sense...
How is your Mars shoes? I've seen some pics where it was really badly painted in some spots. For the most part mine seem ok. There is a slight area they seem to have not been perfectly lined up but that is just really close examination nitpicking. (I tend to find myself sometimes nitpicking...)
Thanks about the display. I am in love with the MP line. It is just so awesome. If you are still interested in getting some of those MP's they are making some second runs on Sideswipe and Red Alert. (I have Red Alert Pre-Ordered because I missed out the first time he came out... and well the one there isn't official... ) But hey you got Prime. If you can only have a few he is definitely one to have.
I never got any of the seekers yet. So I can't comment on how cool (or not) they are in my opinion. But they seems cool.

I figure since they're like the initial wave, and they wanted to get out the ones that mostly everyone wants (I saw one person's review and said they didn't want Mars because of her high heels... yeah, weird). And yeah, I'd like to hope they're doing well, which could be why they've already put out photos of the Saturn prototype. Right now it's questionable, I'd say. They started following the order they were introduced in the Manga, but then they skipped Jupiter to Venus, so who really knows? I'd like to hope they do make one for Pluto, since I'd personally go buy her in a heartbeat.
I'm not even sure. It could be a lot of things. I haven't even thought of trying to look under the skirt piece (mainly because I do not feel right doing so), so I don't know if that's an issue for mine. I try to be very gentle with them. I saw this one person's review of the Sailor Moon figure (he stated he wasn't even a fan of the manga/anime), where he was just being so rough on her and even in the video, he broke her leg off. So I'm doing my best to just be very gentle on them.
Her shoes are fine in terms of paint. The heel however... does the heel on yours go all the way down to match up with the rest of the foot? Mine actually doesn't, and I think that's part of the reason why she's difficult to stand up, and I just wasn't sure if they were all like that. Paintwise, Mars if fine (aside from what I mentioned before). There's no splotches, rubbing, smearing, or any of that anywhere on her. Her shoes look fine paint-wise. And I tend to be nit-picky as well, so no worries. I had a bit of a fit when MP Prime had a small scratch on his mouth plate after I barely took him out of packaging.
I am too, and I so wish I could go and get them all... except Megatron, he looks sick... and not in a good way. Sadly, since there are so many things coming out that I'm interested in, I may not be able to pick up or order many MP figures. Eg, I just bought the Final Fantasy X/X-2 remaster as well as LR: Final Fantasy XIII for PS3 recently. Those two could equal to an MP figure or two SH Figuarts figures. And considering I do want to get the Sailor Moon ones, I kind of made the decision to try and focus on them over the MP figures unless it is possible for me to get both. I shocked some people saying I'd prefer to get "some pretty girls" over some giant transforming robots, but I would rather try and get them. I was very happy the day I got Optimus Prime, and you can tell based on not only this picture, but he's a star in my photography gallery. The seekers look very nice in their jet modes, and they look super nice on their display stands as jets, like they're actual models. The robot modes... not as impressive, but they still look good. I can only speak on behalf of Thundercracker. The Hasbro Starscream and Skywarp however don't look as impressive in robot modes, so I passed easily on them... that, and I didn't even know they existed until like about 3 years ago. I would've liked to go for Coronation Starscream since he's the better mold, but that ship kind of sailed, so oh well. The ones I'm really waiting for are like an upgraded Megatron (PLEASE TAKARA, PLEASE MAKE ONE), hopefully a Galvatron, and then there is the Ultra Magnus with trailer. I'd like to maybe get those in the future. OF course, only one of those is specified to exist, the rest are just hopeful dreams.

Well someone said a report was that they were selling really well. But that could just be a rumor. But if they did go ahead and announce Saturn I'd say that the line is at least doing good enough to warrant an outer senshi then. So that is a good sign.
I think they skipped Jupiter because she needs to be taller. So it's not like they can use the same molds/parts. They have to make taller legs etc.
For the paint I didn't mean looking under the skirt as in up their skirt. I meant the part on the sides where the skirt is separate from the torso. So more like the top of the skirt on their sides. Where the side goes under the skirt. If you move the torso that part would rub. So I was just asking if yours shows any signs of that.
Mars heels seem ok. But I wouldn't expect her to stand on her own. Those heels are thin. How come you don't want to use the included stands? You can get them in a lot of awesome poses with them. They were meant to rely on the stands and not so much stand on their own.
Megatron is not from the reboot. He's an older MP design. So if you wanted to focus on just the reboot of the line you wouldn't have to worry about that MP Megatron.
As for so many things coming out and not enough money or having to priorities. I understand completely. As for people saying stuff about you getting "Pretty Girls" over Giant Transforming Robots. Don't let that bother you, collect what you enjoy. Don't let anyone else make you feel like you can't.

I'm hoping so, I really want them to succeed.
AS they put out the final product pictures as of yesterday for Jupiter, I'd say she turned out great, and finally not some gray-manniquen kind of prototype. I can understand that. I almost thought it was because they wanted to do something about the lightning rod piece from her tiara, too, but that worked out. Weird how it's the "tallest" ones that I want to get the most...
Oh, I get you now. So far, not really, but I don't tend to use the waist movement on them all that much. I have done the ab-crunch on them, but that's about it. There's no signs of wear or rubbing against the waist.
I don't know. Probably because I'm used to standing up other things I've owned by their own power. Mercury can work fine, as can Sailor Moon. Plus I guess because of how I take the pictures, I find it sort of "takes away" from the feel. I could just be nitpicking. I do use the stand whenever I'm not taking pictures of her or when she's not packed away in her box.
I know, that's why I changed my mind on him. That, and there's just so many things wrong with him that I didn't know from before. He looks just so... bad. That's why I'm hoping in the reboot, they do go back and make a Megatron, one that doesn't look like he's starving himself to the point he can't hold his fusion cannon on his arm anymore. I mainly want one because I do like Megatron and can you honestly have Optimus without him? I feel like he's not complete somehow. He's standing there, I'm looking right at him, and he's by himself. Even when I had Thundercracker, he still looked alone. It's like the saying, you can't have one without the other. At least, that's how I feel. As for Galvatron, kind of the same reason. I like Galvatron, he was an awesome Decepticon leader. Plus he's a total nutjob who got into crazy adventures.
Yeah,. that's pretty much how I see it, and for now the Sailor Scouts have taken priority. They're a bit cheaper than a MP figure (MP Soundwave is like 3 of them!) and lately I've been enjoying them just a little bit more. That's not to say I'm not enjoying Transformers stuff anymore, but I can kind of tamper down in favor of Sailor Moon. I collect a lot of rare/exotic/import stuff so there's always room for more, I'd say.

Oh wow I had to go check the official site to see since I wasn't aware of the update. She looks fantastic! WOO! I hope her pre-order goes up soon. It should.
Well I can't tell what's going on with mine. I can't tell if the white paint is coming off or the blue is rubbing onto it. But it's under the collar of the skirt so unless I do extreme poses it's not showing.
Yeah with these figures though even if you get them to stand just a small movement/vibration and they can easily tip over. I'm not taking chances and am using the stands. I don't mind though I think it looks neat how they all go together. But I get what you are saying about them kind of getting in the way sometimes. (for pic specially).
Yeah MP-05 Megs.. eh. I considered trying to get him once but since the line rebooted I am absolutely loving the new direction and will just wait till they make a new version. I just hope importing him wont be a hassle with the stupid toy gun laws and all that. If they are smart they will package him in robot mode and not show he turns into a gun anywhere on the packaging. That might help. I think we are getting a MP Galvatron soon. Like probably after Ultra Magnus. It seems more likely then getting a MP Megatron for now.
I don't have that luxury. I am so into both lines that I can't just priorities one over the other...

Yeah, and she looks a lot better than the so-called leaked preliminary images from who knows when. Seeing as how she was one of my earliest anime crushes (I realized years later that was why I remembered her so fondly), you can bet I won't let this get away so easily.
Maybe that is it. I try my best to not do extreme posing with them (I don't want to be like that jerk of a guy who broke her leg off and sat there all casual about it), but even then I still manage to someone find scuffs and paint problems here and there. And yeah, that is true, seeing as where the problem is. That, and unless you display them to people like those who broke their Yoko Littner figures (seriously...) you shouldn't have so much of a problem... My MP Prime on the other hand...
Typically yes. I even demonstrate that in a video review for Sailor Moon, but if you are careful and have them on a solid flat surface, they are fine. Mars is another story since her heels are as you said, much more thin. And yeah, for pictures, I feel like it kind of throws off the feeling. I use the stand sometimes, like in the pictures I have Sailor Moon doing the tiara throw (and again when posing with Sentinel Prime), but because she really couldn't stand up on her own that way. But when they aren't involved in my photoshoots, I'm more than fine using the stands. I'm still learning ways I can incorporate the stands in poses for them. I barely figured out how to use the stand for Mars to recreate her finished transformation pose.
I did, too, but then I realized how poor he is compared to the newer MP figures. That's why I'm really hoping they consider making one of him in this new reboot of the line. As for Galvatron, I'll just wait until after Magnus comes out. There's still the fan-chosen MP Star Saber figure that has to be put out, but I don't know how they are going to work on that. I know they have two different designers now, one for the on-going line and one for Star Saber.

Yeah she is looking good. I noticed a bit of a color issue with her hair tie thing. It seems too blue. I'm sure they could fix it before release. In all the shots of the show I can find it's a bit more on the greenish side and not to obvious blue. Other then that she looks spot on.
Hmm.. Are you the one who did the video and you kept trying to stand her with blue tack stuff? And what is wrong with your MP Prime?
Heh the first pose I tried for Mars was the finished transformation pose. Tried using the box for reference. I kinda got it but I think the far leg was a bit off. It was hard to calculate how it should be exactly.
Yeah and they pulled the new reboot guy off to go work on TF4 stuff... ugh...
At this moment I'm not interested in Star Saber. I have no connection to him at all. But Ultra Magnus... hell yes. And if they make a Galvatron hell yes too. Although I do seem to be heavily one sided to the Autobots... Hmmm...

Huh. Never really notice. Then again, I guess I never paid too much attention to the hair tie she has. I guess you can already tell it wouldn't bother me much personally. But yeah, she looks spot on, they've gotten her outfit, her design, her facial expressions, everything spot on and I am SO looking forward to when she is released.
No. I'm the one who did the video where I stand her up on a yellow box most of the time. My review only has 3 views, so I doubt anyone has really seen it at this point, mainly because I'm starting over and not from my already existing accounts ShadowBionics, LoShadows0111. And if you really want to know... I have no clue how in the world this happened, considering I'd store him away by himself... one of the wheels on his trailer snapped off. I have no idea what to do. I keep the wheel inside the trailer, but it just irks me so much that this happened. It still serves its purpose, but there's a missing wheel on one side, and it just drives me mad everytime I look at it. I'm thankful that at least the main figure is fine, and while that is the more important thing to me, I just don't like how his trailer will forever have this imperfection.
It kind of is, and I even have picture references of the 5 main scouts, mostly for pose references and mostly because I'm on the bridge of making some kind of drawings for them down the line, akin to the cartoonish drawings I already do for various Pokemon and Final Fantasy characters.
I'm personally not going for him either. No offense to anyone, but he doesn't interest me, probably because I never got into the Victory! series, and I know he has a large following in Japan, and since the vote was open to Japan, it's almost no surprise with who won. I was kind of hoping for either Primal, Armada Prime, or Flaming Justice to win. Magnus is probably one of my favorite characters and I definitely do want to get him. I was ready to tear down the sky to find his PRID incarnation (even if he's "non-canon"), as well as his BH incarnation. While I love Optimus especially as one of my childhood heroes, I've noticed a lot of my favorite characters from G1 are mostly Decepticons. Megatron, Galvy, Soundwave, Cyclonus, Shockwave... Not to say I don't have my favorite Autobots, too, but at the moment there's not many MP figures of them out yet.

Yeah she looks so good. I can't wait to get her on pre-order so I know I have secured mine. I wish they would put it up already...
Oh ok. There was some video I watched and the guy kept putting blue tack on her foot and she get not standing and he kept complaining about it and said he didn't want to use the stand.
Wow what in the hell... so the wheel just snapped off? Is it in some odd place or like right off at the axel? Would gluing it in place be an option? It might not roll but it would at least look normal. I think I rather have a none rolling wheel but that looked like it should then a missing wheel.
Yeah it's tough getting them into the exact poses. Or maybe I'm just not trying hard and long enough... I dunno.
Well Powermaster Prime would have been cool. I believe he was one of the choices. I at least know him. Star Saber I don't really know much about.
Magnus is going to be so cool from the looks of the silhouette. But he is costly... I'm sure Hasbro would probably do their own version but it might be so damn hard to get. So I'm not going to bother to take the chance and just get the Takara version.
So you are more of a con person huh? I'm more of a Bot person.
It's ok I'm used to it. My Girl is a total con lover... imagine how that plays out...

Yup. The preliminary shots looked weird and her face seemed "off," but this one is looking much better. My guess is most places outside Japan won't do that until after Sailor Venus has been released. Maybe even after the 2nd edition Sailor Moon if they were really cruel.
Nah, I don't even use tacks. I've only seen a few reviews of any/all of the figures released. Like this one guy who said he got them for his girlfriend and then broke Sailor Moon's leg off because he does not know how to take care of them... On camera.
Yes. From the axle, at a diagonal. So part of the axle is still in the wheel, and because it keeps moving, it won't stay in place for me to glue it properly, so everytime I do, it just ends up falling off again. But I guess it goes to show, no matter how much you take care of something, (to quote TJOMega, "You can cherish this toy, but it will still break on you"), anything can still happen. I guarded this guy with my life, keeping him locked up by himself, and he still broke somehow, and to this day I do not know how. I'm thankful the main figure is fine (I would throw an even larger fit if he wasn't), but the trailer will forever have this problem. If they were to put out a KO of the trailer, I might look into it. Sadly, they only made a KO of the main figure an put it on Amazon.
I'm not sure. I have been able to do some poses with them, but others are a little harder. Like getting Mercury to hold he compact computer without it sliding out of her hands, or actually getting Mars to do her fire stance. I'm just trying not to break them while trying to enjoy them (If Optimus' trailer breaking has taught me one thing, it's to appreciate the figure(figures) while I have it(them) versus locking them up to be "safe" when all the while anything can still happen).
I know, I'm already liking the look of him, and it looks like he is going to be good. I imagine he might even cost more than the Japanese MP-10 just be looking at him and thinking about it! If they do get him, I will be SO HAPPY. Of course, I just have to make sure my cousin turned Scalper doesn't get ahold of him. It's because of her, I never got Soundwave. She had him RIGHT THERE. Just waving it in front of my face, but rather than let some poor urchin like me have it (or pay for it, I'd have done it), she wanted some rich snob who'd pay over $200 for it. Don't get me started on when she made some girl cry because she couldn't find some My Little Pony stuff... seriously, she takes stuff not knowing what it is and goes to sell if for insane prices.
I don't really know for sure, but yeah, I seem to like a lot of the Decepticons a lot more. But then Optimus Prime is one of my biggest childhood heroes. And then the only 2 custom painted figures I have are Autobots (3 if you include the Ironhide that I bought, but I didn't make him). I can imagine how that might...

Yeah they might wait till Venus is out... arghh..
No I didn't mean tacks. It's called blue-tack I think. It's like a blue putty people use to put up posters and stuff. He used it to hold up his figures. He said the stands ruined the look but then all I could think was "and this blue stuff they are standing on doesn't??"
Wow.. how the heck does it break on the axle? That is metal... that is really weird. It wouldn't have just broke... is it possible someone else was touching your stuff? Maybe you could glue it with glue that is good for metals? Either that or if you know how to use a soldering gun. But... that probably wouldn't work either.
That guy that was talking about getting them for his girlfriend reminds me of one guy I was watching his videos and he kept making sure that we all knew they weren't for him. Cause you know, it's so bad if it was for him. Cause a guy can't have thee figures right? Yeah... It's probably the same guy... He seems so arrogant and full of himself and so insecure... seriously.
My Mercury hold the computer thing ok. The open one anyways. I just had to push it into the hand that had the groove for it. No problem. And yes, enjoy the figures while you can. That is why I prefer to open my figures and enjoy them in my life while I'm alive and while I can. Instead of keeping them in a sealed box or putting them away in some closet to never see them and then one day I'm dead... and it was all for what? To keep mint? Yeah like that matters when I'm dead right? Pff...
Ugh.. scalpers.. I mean I could understand trying to resell something for higher prices if you were having a hard time and you needed money... but when you don't and you are doing it just to make others pay higher so you can be greedy... it just really sucks.
Ah it isn't a problem. I was just joking around. My girl is a totally con lover and I'm more of a Bot guy. It's funny cause we are like opposite sides.

Probably. I found the preorder for Sailor Moon. But considering I already have the better version of her, yeah, I don't think so.
Oh. So like mighty putty from that guy with the beard. That's not as damaging as tacks are... at least I hope not. Couldn't it strip the paint from her boot or something?
No, not really. There's the tire, the wheel, the metal pin, and then there is the axle and wheel well, which are made with plastic. I'm not saying to go break a wheel off to see for yourself, but yeah, it is plastic in there, and I only know because of the broken wheel. I don't think it was anyone touching my stuff, considering where I put him to begin with in storage. The only thing I can think of was I moved him and his trailer around too much, the wheel got itself caught on the surface thanks to friction or just plain back luck, and just snapped itself. Why only that one, I don't know, but at least it wasn't all of them. I'd have to look into it for myself, but that'll be much later on when I figure out what to do.
Well, he didn't know anything about Sailor Moon, according to him anyway. Like he didn't really care about breaking Sailor Moon's leg on camera. He somehow glued it back together at the end of the review and for the Mercury review, but oh well. I'm not sure if it is the same guy, but who knows? I saw a guy who got 2 of Sailor Moon.
I guess I can't really figure it out for the moment, and I don't want to put any stress on the hands or anything. I'll figure it out one of these days. As a little kid, I never believed in keeping stuff in boxes really, I just tear em open. Although I do have an extra TFP Soundwave and Starscream hanging on my wall (can't really be mean about gifts and say "thank you but I already have them so please take it back"), but I might just sell them off one of these days with part of my Energon collection. And yeah, exactly. I never intended to leave Optimus in the box, I wanted to have him out to either have him for display or to interact with whatever other figures I got. He's in perfect scale with Sandstorm and Springer, I'd say.
It does, and plus this is your own family doing this to you. I mean, the nice thing to do at least would be to agree to let me pay it off or better yet, give me the darn thing because you know I'm going to enjoy it more than some weirdo in Alabama you've never met. And yeah, especially towards little kids, too. She was bragging about clearing out a Target of Transformers (she lied) and My Little Pony (out of curiosity I checked, there was hardly anything), I did go there that same day. I heard this small girl sad about being unable to find anything. That day I found Soundwave there, I saw tons of those little figures there and whatever other stuff they sell. She also had Acid Storm there, but no one seems to want him since he's still there to this day.
Ah, all right, and I can see why, it's like irony or something.

Better version of her? I thought it was just an extra two faces? Well I guess that is the "better" version.
Yeah it's like putty. I don't know if it would strip paint. I don't think so. But yeah it still looks weird. Looks like they stepped in some blue goo or something...
That really sucks for the wheel... I'm not sure how much money you have but would buying a Year of the Horse MP-10 And then disassembling the wheels from THAT trailer and putting them on yours be a viable option? Like unscrewing the whole bottom of the trailer and using that version on your trailer. Then just stick the broken bottom assembly on the other one and putting it away (or selling it or something). You could even then sell the MP-10 Year of the horse Prime figure to someone who just wanted the figure without the trailer. Or you could sell it all for a bit cheaper and mention the trailer wheel was changed out and is broken. You might be able to get yours all fixed up and it would only cost you maybe $15 if you sold the figure for that minus $15 for the broken wheel. Then you'd have a fixed wheel and all it cost you was $15.
All I know is there are two hands to hold the computer. One is for a closed computer I believe and the other is for the open computer. It has her thumb going over the computer keyboard part and a groove in the shape of a rectangle in her palm. Maybe you are using the closed computer hand and it's not staying for the open one?
Yup. I'm a take it out of the box guy too. Always have been. Though like you said if it's doubles or something I have some sealed in that case. Like the Prime FE's.
Yeah. She sounds like a jerk. Specially doing that to you. Like you said, specially knowing you would enjoy it a lot more. Sorry you have to deal with that. It sucks.
lol. Yeah. It makes it pretty neat when like on the fridge I have my Autobot symbol and she has her Decepticon Symbol. Or like how much I like Prime Arcee and she like Prime Starscream. Heh...

Yeah, that's what I meant. I think those two faces are really important to her as a character if you think about it, especially how she starts out. I think it's kind of a shame later releases won't have them.
All right. I guess I never heard of it before.
... I don't even know what you said... sorry to say. Too complicated. I don't even have $120 to throw at a Year of the Horse Optimus right now, let alone anything else I want. Maybe something might happen for me in the future where I can do something, but for right now I'll just let it be.
I probably don't know what I 'm doing entirely then. I think it's really the closed one that gives me some issues. I probably don't know which hand goes to which, so that might be it. I never really sat down to try and figure her out.
I do have a FE Starscream hanging on my wall with a PRID Soundwave I'm most likely going to sell off. Got him as a gift, didn't know what to do with him, so I might as well let someone who will enjoy him have him. I thought about doing some kind of custom with him, but I don't know what.
She is. She doesn't get it. All that's on her mind right now is money. I could tell you more about her, but then I shouldn't. To her, family means nothing. And no, it's okay. If she asks me for advice, I'm just going to either hold things from her, or feed her fake advice. I'll tell her to buy every single Glory Hog figure they put out. Considering he's in the next movie and the star of TFA 2.0, I know they'll sell like hotcakes! (not)
That sounds kind of interesting.

Yeah I agree though. Those faces are cool. Well my girlfriend wants me to use the crying face and stuff... but I like to have her posed in a more serious look. So I haven't used the crying face. But I agree that it does work with the character if you want to use that. The Winking face is cute too.
eh don't worry about it then.
Yeah you'd probably just have to look at the hands and see how there is two for the computers. One opened and once closed version.
FE Starscream is such a good figure. I understand why you'd want to keep it but also like you said selling it to someone who might get enjoyment out of it is always nice too.
Yeah.. Probably best not to go on about talking smack about her. Even if it is deserved. Just take the better path.

Yeah, I really think so. I keep her with the face she came with, but I do switch to the crying face whenever i want to have her in some humorous poses.
Yeah, one of these days I'll figure something out.
Probably, I'm just so over sighted when it comes to things like that. But again, one of these days.
Yeah, I definitely like him. The moment I got him, the PRID Starscream just flew into the storage bin. But he has FE Arcee to keep him company... And only reason is because they're not really in scale with everyone else, and I enjoy their other counterparts better for one reason or another. So yeah, I have one for display and one out to be with the rest of my collection to represent Starscream. And yeah, I'll most likely try to sell off Soundwave soon.
Exactly. Otherwise I'm no better than those who complain and start fights or whatever. It's not worth it. But I really do look down on the path she chose...

Yeah it's nice to be able to change faces. It's really cool to have so many choices. Before getting Sailor Moon I don't think I had any other figures with face changing options like this. Then again I only recently got into getting things like revoltech, figma, and figuarts.
I tend to leave my other Arcee's in Bike mode. Have them all lines up and stuff. Well not right now... they are all scattered and clustered here and there right now. I really need to organize better...
Yeah. I look down at that path too. I think many people would.

That is one thing I like. Considering I'm used to having figures with only one given expression, it is a very welcome and inventive change. There are figma and revoltech stuff I wish I could get, but then once again I'd have to possibly give up more that I'm not ready to.
For the most part, everyone is packed away according to line/series. All my TFP stuff is in one storage bin now, my movie stuff is in the Ultimate Optimus Prime box, Energon in another storage bin, things like that. Only ones I have out right now are MP Optimus, Jetwing Optimus, Sentinel Jerkface, and Energon Tidal Wave because... I couldn't think of what to do with him.
I already know a lot of collectors who do. Scalpers just make things harder on everyone, and I hate that. To her, it is nothing but money. To us as collectors, these mean much more. For some, it is nostalgia and getting to relive those cherished childhood memories. For some, it is sentimental getting to have a representation of that favorite character or childhood hero. When I got Optimus, words couldn't describe what I felt. I asked for him and they put out two for me a day early. I took one of them and that was just a great feeling inside, considering this guy was a hero to me. Peter Cullen even said in an interview that some fans said Optimus was like a father figure to them, even while a lot of them grew up without fathers. I can agree with that, considering my father was nothing but a selfish creep who thought I was a disappointment for not wanting to be like him. So it meant a lot to me to get this figure, as silly as it sounds. Scalpers will not ever understand these feelings and I seriously pity them to no end.

Yup. Having the choice of multiple faces and or effect pieces is really nice. Sentinel Jerkface... and the funny thing is I don't even know which one you are talking about but both Movie and Animated where jerkfaces..
Yeah. Scalpers are annoying. As for when you got Optimus I totally understand that. When I got Hasbro Masterpiece Prime (MP-10 ver) I was ecstatic. It made my inner child just completely rolling around in a in a field of rainbows. It was just that awesome to have that guy. So I totally understand what you mean about that.

Oh, well I guess I never mentioned I don't actually own any TFA merchandise... So movie Sentinel is the only one I got. I hate the character, yet I like the look of the toy. I just hate transforming him.
Glad to hear someone knows that feeling. Pretty much how I felt like getting Sailor Moon as well. They both look like they literally walked out of their respective shows because they're so well done.

Yeah Sentinel is a jerk... I thought TFA was bad but movieverse one... Poor Ironhide...
Yup. Such a good feeling. And yup they are both done so good. Both lines "SH Figuarts Sailor Moon and Masterpiece Transformers" are done so well.

the TFA guy is nothing compared to the movie guy. He was a stuck-up snob, sure, but then this guy is like the ultimate robot Benedict Arnold to the extreme.
Exactly, with these you can tell a lot of detail goes into them as well as a lot of care and detail.
