This was the second assignment for my Intro to Sequential Art class. We were supposed to create a two page comic only using silhouettes to show emotion and action, etc. It's a little unclear in some places (like panels 14 and 15).Materials: Sharpie marker on bristol board

That's an amazing comic. XD There was only one panel where I was slightly lost where the mermaid was crying, but otherwise I understood perfectly what was going on. I think it's amazing how much of a story can be told with little or no details as long as you have gestures down.

This is a really, really neat idea. Silhouettes can either be really pointless, or really amazing. Your comic is flat out ingenious! I love it.
Hm...If I ever get money again, I think I'll take another art class. Do you like yours?

I love all of my studio classes...but then again, I'm going to art college for a reason, lol XD The class I did this for is difficult, but in a good way. I'm really pushing myself to be a clearer story-teller.

Are you taking a writing class too? That might help. Maybe one for fiction. I know they offer something like that at my local college, so maybe they have better classes at a "real college". Either way, best of luck to you, clearly you've got the talent. *smile smile smile*

Nice. It's very expressive but the only part where it looks like it could be better is when the mermaid cries. Maybe showing her arms a little more extended from her body or something of the such.
