Description
Part of a propaganda themed photo shoot with Red Chair Productions, brought with me some 'street clothes' and a retractable sword that worked pretty good for a modern Zuko
took a few tries to balance properly but i got it eventually. Photo by Naim Kingston.

did my normal thin lines/trails of liquid latex to start with, applied my base colours (red, brown, black), then used blending powder to dull it back down a lot; then used reds, browns, and some beige mixed in. had access to someone with a bruise wheel (collection of grease paints specifically for bruises) so they were showing me how to combine few colours (blue, green, beige) together to get different effects.

good natural balance, multiple failed attempts or unusable shots of me with arms out flailing to stay up, a very patient photographer, and surprisingly grippy dress shoes

You should post the pics of you flailing, just like in scraps or something (if you still have them which I doubt.)
