Full Description:
Tash is a student of Reaper High, but she doesn't actually inhabit the Other Side, she just visits from time to time through meditation and help from her spirit guide, The Shadowcat. Though she's starting to like her life there better than the one in the Living Side. Time spent in the Other Side is similar to Dream-time to her, eg. One hour at Reaper High is equivalent to five minuets meditation in the Living Side. She spends a lot of time at Reaper High, but must always eventually return to the Living Side to eat and other human things, including another school there.
Crossing Over (and staying Over) can be dangerous, so Tash must always be close to her guide, who keeps her safe. The Shadowcat takes his job extremely seriously and is very protective over her for this reason, but this does not stop him having a good sense of humour. The Shadowcat cannot speak but he can communicate telepathically with her and most other people on the Other Side, unless they guard their minds against him. He can also levitate and disappear at will, though he can always sense where Tash is.
