"Damn, I'm done,"
A girl about 18 leaned a sword staked into the ground for support. She pushed her dark red hair out of her face, to reveal bright azure blue eyes. Her teacher watched form a safe distance.
"You wish to see your father agian don't you, Anna?" he asked.
"Of course! What kind of question is that?!" Anna snapped back.
"Well, then, you have to train and get stronger," he teacher said.
Anna sighed, he was right, again. A woman with light blue hair walked out of the inn where they were stayin at in Treit. She shook her head and sighed.
"Anna, I think it's time you and your teacher took a break," the woman said.
"Okay,"
Anna took her sword out of the ground walked over and picked up her other sword that her techer had knocked from her hand. As Anna walked past the woman, Anna's teacher followed. They both looked as much alike. Their outfits were just about the same as well. He had on a dark blue/purple outfit with a couple of belts around his waist, and his cloak thing split and tailed off both shoulders. Anna's outfit was a darker color and she didn't have the cloak thing. She had belts around her waist but also a couple around her legs, and arm. Her gloves, like his, went almost under her arms. The woman could see a bright red sphere on Anna's right hand, she had a blue sphere on a chain hanging around her neck.
In the inn Anna had washed up and had pulled her hair back loosely so it wouldn't get in the way. She sat down at a table across from her teacher.
"Your skill has improved but----"
"I still have a long way to go, right? I know, you tell me that every time we train." Anna said a bit testly.
A man with light blue hair walked in carring several plates. He set one down in front of anna, her teacher, then the other woman before sitting down himself.
"Mmm, smells good Genis," Anna said taking a taste.
"Thanks Anna," Genis said blushing a little, "What do you think Raine?"
The light blue haired woman looked up.
"Excellent as usual,"Raine said.
Anna's teacher also took a small taste.
"This has been bothering me awhile now,"Raine started.
Anna's teahcer looked at Raine.
"I thought you were suppose to go with Deris Kharlan, why have you come back?" Raine asked.
Anna choked as she heard the name Deris Kharlan. Everyone looked at her.
"You okay Anna?" Raine asked.
Anna nodded vigorously. She gulped down the water she had.
"Fine...sorry,"
Raine nodded and turned her attention back to Anna's teacher. Her teacher was still looking at Anna. Anna averted her eyes and didn't look at him. She couldn't possibly tell them that she had been having reaccuring dreams about the massive comet of mana. It was always the same, the comet would be heading for the planet, and a voice would whisper,"Please, you must awaken. If the planet is to be saved you must awaken," It was always the same woman's voice, although Anna could never find the woman. Anna would always wake up after that.
"Kratos, you haven't answered my question," Raine said.
"I don't know. But it must be an important reason for Deris Kharlan to send me back here,"Kratos answered.
Kratos, Anna's teacher, and grandfather, had gone with Deris Kharlan to get rid of the Cruxis Crystal that had been made. He had suddenly reappeared, and on the same day Anna's father, Lloyd had gone missing. Well, he hadn't gone missing that day, he had been gone for quiet awhile before that, on his mission to gather all the Exsphere's. But that day, Anna had gotten his Exsphere by someone who said they had seen Lloyd being attacked by monsters, when the battle was over, the only thing left was the Exsphere. Anna had only started this journey to find her father, but she now had a dreading feeling that it would turn into something so much more, very soon.
