Description
The market place was all hustle and bustle under the afternoon sun as the two jedi wove their way through the crowd and glanced at the shops. Jedi Masters Nate Raine and Naali Udra walked side by side, observing the shops as they passed. Naali glanced over at her old friend, he looked a little nervous.“Your son is getting married.” Naali whispered warmly, “You shouldn’t be so nervous.”
Nate glanced over at her and smiled. “But I have no idea what to buy for a wedding present.” He said with a chuckle.
Naali grinned in return. “So that’s why you begged me to come with you.” She joked, turning to look at some wares.
Nate merely chuckled, “What can I say, you know more languages then I do – if it were just me, I’d never get out of here with a good deal.” He winked to her with a smile. Naali glanced up at him. It was so good to see her old friend smiling again. He had such a magnificent smile and warm demeanor – it was something she’d always loved about him. She was glad that through all the tragedy he had seen that he had managed to keep his humor and hadn’t lost himself completely.
They walked on a bit further, before Nate suddenly asked, “What language would you say was the most common in this place?”
Naali pondered for a moment then answered, “Bochee perhaps.”
Nate seemed to contemplate this for a moment. “Do you know how to speak it?” He asked, glancing over at her.
“Yes.” She replied, meeting his gaze.
“Hmmm…” He mused as they paused by a shop filled with strange and exotic art. “Then tell me, how would you say ‘I’m just looking?’”
Naali smiled and repeated it back to him in Bochee. Nate beamed and repeated it back to her. Naali laughed aloud at the strange accent he had decided to say it in. “Not bad.” She said after she got her laughter under control.
Nate grinned, then quickly moved in front of her to avoid a crazy Rodian who was pushing a crate-load of fish through the aisle. They both watched as the crazy vendor nearly trampled a group of people, fish hanging out of the crate and some even falling to the ground. Nate quirked a brow to Naali, then continued walking. “How do you say, ‘That’s what I want?’”
Naali repeated it back to him in perfect fluidity. Nate pondered a moment, then repeated it aloud perfectly.
Naali paused, impressed by his pronunciation. “That’s very good!” She said a bit shocked.
Nate stopped and turned to face her, smiling warmly. Naali smiled in return and met his green eyes, there she seen something she hadn’t seen before – something more then just friendship.
His hand moved to touch her cheek. “How do you say – ‘I’m looking at what I want?’” He whispered softly.
Naali blinked in surprise, caught off gaurd by Nate's words. "I...Nate!" She exclaimed, her shock slowly wearing off. Then suddenly, she threw her arms around him. Unable to find the right words to say, she just opted for crying tears of joy.
Nate grinned. "And here I brought you along because your the articulate one." He chuckled, holding her close.

Oh yes, I see how it is. And how long are we planning on keeping this asecret before we all tell Verdin what the hell is going on. Cause when he finds out he will be pissed that his friends didn't tell him. Secrets secrets secrets.

Both myself and the character are well aware at how pissed off Verdin will be when he finds out.
