Description
This is a sketch from way back that I in response to a rather small tidbit of fictional writing (it was crap but it got my sketching engine churning as did it ~wraith11 's. [link] ).Description: After being stuck behind a hastily errected barricade for 8 hours being shot at with high power weapons the whole time, you tend to appreciate the smaller things in life, like the feeling of rain on your face.

The rain effect has been pulled off wonderfully. One sugestion to make it better would to vary the glow amount on the rain (it difuses light; glows) as it touches a light source.
The background color is great, but the foreground scenery needs more detail. Also the gun crys for more detail. As it is, it looks much too flat (both gun and scenery).

Small riot was called off due to rain, the leader of the riot commented "this rain is really bad for my hair so we're canceling and starting again tommorow"
