There is so much details, the scales on this one.. wow!
I think the background looks fine! maybe a little bit more detailed would have been okay, but too much would maybe draw attention away from the dragon.

Amazing colouring, you did a terrific job on this one.
The fins tend to obstruct some parts of the body a bit, but that's almost unavoidable and the detail of the scales makes up for that.
Also, although the beak looks a tad too broad to my liking, it does have the right overall shape and fits well in the overall 'feeling' of the picture.
The best part of the overall picture is the Leviathan's eye, it has just the right glance and colour.
