Description
Finally, right? For those of you who requested a process, don't worry, I'll be completing that in the near future!
For me to further explain this, have some steps (I USE PHOTOSHOP!):
1. Base color
Not much to it, just select a base color, since this fur will be a light color, I'm choosing a dark(ish) grey.
2. Basic shading
I just choose my light source and add some shading use a basic brush and the smudge tool
3. Begin Fur
There's no really easy way to start this step, I use 's brush pack, and the brush tool. You pretty much just start adding clumps, you can look at refs for fur using this amazing thing called "Google". Also, please remember, gravity exists.
4. Fur Detail
Using the same brush, I use a lighter color and a smaller size, and begin to paint more detail over the before layer. Use lighting!
5. Coloring (if necessary) and additional shading
I use the layer modes Soft Light (for coloring) and Overlay (for shading)
If you have any additional questions, please ask!
