She is now amongst the memories
That tore her apart when he was alive.
Smuggled in between the bedsheets
Beside the imprint of his body,
     gone...

And she hears the wind sigh
Imagining the way he used to breathe
And she remembers how she used to breathe with him.

She folds the laundry, noticing how all his things
     are no longer there
It still smells of him, after all these years
Even after trying to wash out the tears.

Three years past, and still she feels for him
Beside her when she awakens.
Heart skipping beats disobediently,
She must convince herself that it has been too long
     to still be grieving.
