My skies are greyMy lips are pale
And all the sounds I hear
Are monotone.
Purity
Is only a black and white dream
That is forgotten
When the stars fade away.
Icy cold is only a memory
And uncomfortably hot, fiery sun
Is cooling into darkness.
Bland is the word I live by
Not courage
Nor love
Nor belief
But bland is overtaking my days
Leaving eraser shavings
Where colour and spice used to be.
I do not know sadness.
I do not know satisfaction.
Only nauseas content.
I cannot recall the rainbow
Or remember the feel of rain.
I see no youth
I see no age
I only read the definition of passion
In the dictionary.
I would call for help
If I could experience desire
Or panic
Or loneliness.
Explain to me, what is emotion?
You would say I am empty
I have no loss.
I would say there is nothing inside
I have no gain.
My skies are grey and my lips are pale.
