Description
Today smells of your body's sweet warmthWeaving in and out of dreams and memories
Like daisy stems in the May Queen's hair.
And it smells of sugar water on your lips
And the night's fading rain.
It smells of sex between the sheets
Cooling still, for your heat
Is everlasting on my lonely skin.
Today smells of the warm corduroy
Where yesterday you made me truly believe
And begin to dream
Of what we could be, together.
It smells of fresh biscuits and sweet chai
Of wet newspapers and the angry bite of a chill wind
Of longing, hope, even a hint of disbelief
But yet an understanding so true
That not even the bitter scent of responsibility can take it from me.
Today smells of Sunday, May 29, 2011.

That's a pretty interesting, Darianish thing to do. And the poem is pretty, if a bit odd. Which is cool.

Thanks I've been trying to work out this idea for a while, but I think I finally got it... It made me smile to think about it, too.
