Description Lavender Town Report
---------------------------------

Symptoms: Headache, Migraine, bleeding from eyes or ears, mood swings, irritability, addition to games, unprovoked violence, withdrawal, unresponsiveness, and even suicidal thoughts.

Me: Even though I have listened to Lavender Town music for a long period of time I have not gotten sick or had any symptoms tied to the Lavender Town tone. One of the reasons might be that I'm old enough to not be affected much or at all. The only 'symptom' I've gotten from listening to the Lavender Town theme was a shiver. I did hear the high pitched note however.

My Dad: Even before I tested if he was affected I knew he wouldn't be able to hear it. My dad has bad hearing and so he was not able to hear the high pitched note on the Lavender Town theme. He had gotten no symptoms.

My Neighbor: I was lucky enough to get my neighbor, Carly, to come over and listen to the Lavender Town tone. Right when the music entered the area with the high pitched notes she told me that she was feeling suddenly dizzy. I stopped the music and she was soon fine. Carly was younger than me and so she was easily affected.

My cousin: It was one day that I told my cousin, Racheal, about the Lavender Town legend and she asked me if she could see if she could be affected. I turned on the music and all was fine till the high pitched note came through the speakers. She asked me to stop the music. I did and asked what was wrong. She told me that she suddenly felt ill and I told her that she was just been affected.

My Mom: I once told my mom the day I learned about the legend about Lavender Town. She told me that it sounded horrible and didn't want a part of it or hear about it. I convinced her to listen to it at least once and I turned on the music. She listened past the high pitched note without a word. When I turned it off I asked if she heard the notes or felt anything and she replied with a no.

My Sister: My older sister, Crystal, is hardly ever around so when she came over to our house I saw my chance to have her listen to the Lavender Town music. I got her to come and I turned on the music. Just like my mom she heard past the high pitched note without a word. When I turned it off and asked if she heard or felt anything she said she did hear the note, but didn't feel sick.

Legend
---------

It was around 1996 that the games Pokemon Red, Blue, and Green were released. It was not long after the release that there were a number of suspicious deaths around the age of ten and under. It turned out that a town in the games called Lavender Town held high pitched notes in its music that caused the children to act strangely.

Some children went as far as killing themselves because of the Lavender Town tone. It was this legend that continues to surround the town and people wonder if the legend is true, sense it was really never proven.

Whenever I hear the low pitch noises it gives me a headache. The first time I heard the song I had no Idea what it was & it felt like I had laughing gas on my face, like the ones dentists give kids.. The weirdest thing is that I am way above the age of the supposed range of ages to be affected. :I

I guess it depends on the person. It was said that the reason children were most likly to act strangly is because of their ear devalipment. If the ear was not fully develupted then the soundwaves could do more harm.

I ca. Hear it, is it a sharp grating noise? I feel lucky I can hear it. And I'm not affected! yay! Btw, I found my old game... Pokemon red... Should I go to lavender town...? Or will it haunt me?

Every legend or myth SHOULD have a kernel of truth... And this definitely does.

You know, I actually loved this. This is a really great idea here.

I'm 20, almost 21, but I can hear the frequencies and I get headaches listening to the music. So it even affects older people.

I'm glad you like it! Ever sense I heard the legend I had people listen to the music and kept track of what happened. I'm happy it paid off!

Except for the story, I always hated Lavendar town in my Blue version. Cause the music was so creepy, I tried to avoid it at times.

...That's weird... I'm 14... But I still am affected by it... The worst part is I'm addicted to it...

being addicted to it is a symptom.

And that's just another problem. It's terrible when I listen to it, and I can't stop listening to it.

>.< I dunno. I'm going to go shoot stuff. That'll keep my mind off of things.
