Description
This is the Oogie Boogie Man decoration I helped to make for Halloween 2010 since last year we decided to go ahead and start doing a Nightmare Before Christmas theme for my yard. This was just after the paintjob was finished... we later added bugs all over him and ones that glowed in his mouth since he is florescent green and glows in the black light that I use.Related content

Very nice! I would like to make one as well. I've already made a "life"-size Jack and evil wreath. Can you give me some clue about your materials?

yeah I just saw your Jack looks pretty kool... I made a simple one for my yard yours looks really good though... but as far as materials go he's mostly just potato sack material and he's filled with trash bags and grocery bags with news papers and some cotton to give him his girth and shape... I used black paint to outline all his seams and used some black cloth for the eyes. I used a pip to give his eye more of that bulge look so it wouldn't just be flat with his mouth up to his head tentacle thing lol... then I sprayed him with florescent light green paint that glows and went over with some dark green to give that wrinkled effect in certain places... and of course like I said that black on all the outlines and seams where he is sewn together... and for effect I put bugs coming out of certain places. Hope that helps ya out... if you need anymore info just ask
