yea, when i came up with that, the commissioner dug it *g* I guess to show a better connection between druids and nature was going on in my head.

nope. this was a commission meant to be black and white. and any images i post as pencil never get colored

well, because I set out to make a piece a certain way. If I know there needs to be color (while sketching, I decide this usually from what is going on in my thoughts on how I see the piece played out)... then I go to the watercolor/canvas for the final drawing. But there's always some pieces that just stand out in my head with color, but with linework, and those are my pencils.

plus, i'd have to draw it over again or scan in for digital, since my pencil paper will warp horribly if I paint on it.

no problem Just certain things with my work are meant to be pencil or greyscale.

I mean, some pieces I see as mostly 'texture' and my pencil is my texture work.
