I have nothing against Carol Danvers and understand why she wasn't picked for the solo film...but still how many times can you say the mantle of a character belonged to a person of color first then adopted by a white person?Related content

But I have read the description.
The first part talks about her being the first female Captain Marvel which is true. And the second part states how many times a mantle of a character belonged to a person of color first then adopted by a white person, which is actually false considering the original Mar Vell. Unless that description is referring to only the female mantles of the character and not in general.
