Great work and shadow effects, the only thing that bothers me is the skull shape, its very similar to a panther but I understand you went for a much rounder feel to the over all figure. Just my opinion, great illustration and color.

This is a great piece. I like how the armour feels a bit more realistic, and the shadow detail is superb!

He's' got a great shape to him. The armor has a really funky feel to it since it's rendered much differently than the rest of the figure, but that's not such a bad thing since the horns and the other baubles are also nicely detailed too.
I think the only major issue I have with this tho is that funky shadow he's casting. Why is he hovering over the shadow instead of it connecting to his feet like a real shadow should?
Other than that, this is so good I'll probably have to swipe this guys design a bit.

oh I always draw the lines by hand.. I never ink and use 2H and HB pencils for almost all my drawings.
the minotaur was colored in Photoshop 6 ! hehe I use PS cs3 now tho.

Why does the forearm plating seems with a different texture than the rest of the drawing? Is it because you used a differente coloring technique?

Yeah I messed around with the Chrome effect that's in PS.. instead of doing it myself.. hehe that's what happened.

Too dark, you lost a lot of detail and expression from the linework.

That is SO cute and SO awesome looking. I love the solidity of some parts of the coloring, and others have sketchy-ish areas. It gives it an awesome texture!
