zombie apocalypse idea

I always thought that a traditional zombie outbreak would be no match against a modern military force. So I thought up of a zombie outbreak that would win.
The idea is that the zombie virus is sentient and self-persevering; using human/animal/bug hosts to evolve and grow. Every time a zombie host consumes living tissue that tissue is added to it’s overall mass. Eventually certain traits are picked out to form a “perfect” zombie.

oh and there is a reverse butt zombie. it farts. it farts zombie flies.
