Description
These are some game cards that I made for an illustration course. I hand drew all the art for them, except for the background which I nabbed off of google. It's pretty plain to see what I drew myself. The game is entirely fictitious, and all the text is made up. I did this with mechanical pencil, ink, markers, and the text boxes with photoshop. The upper left image is the card backs, in case you were wondering.Related content

On second thought, I like Raikomatsu the most. You just did outstanding work there. The way the lightning hits the mountain, and all the detail; But most of all that color! Just wonderful!

Thanks very much! I liked how they turned out as well. I think I messed with the brightness of Raikomatsu a bit too much, so you lose a bit of the mountain detail the scales on his lower half. I wish that I had had time to hand-draw the backgrounds. The googled images kind of kill the vibe. I'm glad you like the card back. I have this weird thing with asymmetrical symmetry, or symmetry with odd numbers, so that's a lot of where that came from. I like how it's kind of an expanded version of the Yin-Yang symbol, and says that there's not just white and black. There's also grey, and it's important to realize that. There was actually one more image in this set, but I colored it in photoshop instead of with markers and I didn't like how it turned out, so I didn't actually make a card of it. I'm going to recolor it and submit that whenever I get around to it.

Dude! This is really cool, and your work is excellent. I dig each monster, as each of them has depth and character; But I'm also really diggin' on that mandala. Sheesh dude you're very talented!
