I really like the first one, I love it when Autumn rolls in. (well, except for the constant smell of defoliant) It's the only time when the weather feels perfect.
Second one is nice, when I read "shining radiance" I automatically thought of all the annoying moments where I go somewhere without my sunglasses and the sun likes to scream "HI!" in my face.
Third one is amusing. My sister in a nut shell. (looks at my username. NO) I'll stop.

Glad you liked them. Autumn is my favorite season as well because, as you pointed out, it's the perfect temperature. I've always preferred cold to hot, because 1) if it's too cold out, you can just put on a jacket, but there's only so many layers you can take off (legally and literally), and 2) I don't like being sweaty. And I hate summer, because it's always hot and muggy. Although this summer I can't complain about, because it was perfect for most of the time, not too hot or too muggy. Most days. But I remember last summer where it was so hot you couldn't even go outside. That was awful. Yet everyone's complaining about how cold it was this summer, and I'm just like, dafuq? You like pain? I just think they were miffed that they couldn't complain about how hot it was. Anyway, I love Autumn. I should really write a whole poem about it. That would be great.
I've had that, too. I used to not be able to drive without sunglasses on, but now since I spend so much time staring at computer screens, my eyes are becoming less photosensitive (and also generally worse at everything), so I haven't had that problem in a while. But sometimes I still do. I think that haiku was actually a rewrite of an earlier one I had. Or at least I had the same picture in my mind.
Also, lol. It's punny. Usually I'm the one who gets slapped for that kind of stuff. My creative writing teacher says I'm limited to 1 pun a day, or she points it out whenever I make one. It's funny, but not the best reputation to have.

Yeah, our summer has been very mild. Still muggy as hell though. I have always had a thing for the cold and what you said was as true as it could get. For me, I feel "happier" when it is cold and therefore I am willing to do more during those months. Spring is nice, I just hate the allergies and anymore that's a summer before summer. Luckily in this new place, I don't have to deal with a lot of humidity anymore. We just decided to get settled in right when summer is about over. Even then, we still have a sun we have to worry about.

Hmmm...I just thought it was me who felt that way about cold weather. I thought it was all the hardy German blood and being raised in the Northwoods (not really, but I have family up there and I lived pretty close). It's that crisp, cold air that makes you feel alive and invigorated, right? Spring is always the muggiest in Wisconsin, and the bugs are like a plague. Literally, around south west WI, the town of La Crosse has a literal mayfly explosion. It was so big this year, you could literally see it on the weather radar, and not some small clouds, either. It's a nightmare. Autumn has no bugs, and in the northwoods, the trees turn into rainbows. It's absolutely breathtaking. Raking up the leaves isn't very fun, though. But you're right, the sun is an ever-present danger, although some people just don't get it. If they want to get skin cancer, that's their problem. I'd rather not be burnt to cinders.

Well, the trees in our town just die. There really is no color that is given to them other than brown. That's not a huge deal though, as we have a baby tree that stays red almost all year long. The trees themselves don't look pretty because the ice storm back in 2009 tore them to shreds.
Yes, that cold air revives me. Especially that first actual cold you get after 3-4 months of nothing but heat. Its just one of those things.

I believe I remember that storm...maybe. My memory is notoriously bad, but I never forget a face. My memory is so selective, it's ridiculous. I couldn't tell you what I was doing 3 weeks ago, but I can play the entire Jurassic Park movie in my head, even though I watched it when I was, like, 6 or 7. I have no memory for events at all, which is why I hate history so much. Anyway, I feel sorry your trees are so bland and boring. I guess I never thought about that, since I grew up in a place where forestry is an actual college degrees you can obtain. There's so many trees up here, I couldn't imagine living in a place without any, or with much less variety. Another reason why temperate climates are the best, except for the humidity.

I live close to where forest are, they just simply die. There really isn't much there in the Fall as far as trees go.

I like the first one. It's really descriptive in only a few words and it creates an image and feel in your mind. The second one is also pretty cool. It makes me think of a couple out at night near a lake. How everything would just seem magical and radiant in the presence of their loved one. I like it.
