Description Found a good shot of my Elk cosplay from AX 2012 finally ! Day 1 was definitely my favorite day. I don't know if it was the adrenaline of being there, or finding other .Hackers, or getting so much love as Elk (A dream cosplay of mine for some time), but I just loved it so much.

Awesome~! I'm doing a Elk cosplay in about 2 weeks time! What did you make your staff out of?

Thank you! The base of the staff is PVC pipe, that has been spraypainted to look metalic. The end pieces of the staff were sculpted from sculpy clay, and super glued on. The head piece is carved insulation foam, and pieces of craft foam, that has been paper mached, and painted. The ball is a styrofoam ball, that I paper mached, and painted, then attached with fishing wire, so that it would give the appearance of floating. Then I just glued the ribbon to the staff~ Hope that helps ^.^!

Great detail work, your cosplay looks amazing! I plan to do an Elk cosplay sometime soon as well, I just wish I had a tall friend to play along with me as Mia!

Aww, thank you! I put a lot of work into this costume, so i'm very happy you like it! I'm sure you'll make an epic Elk! He definitely needs more love <3.

Thank you! I rarely see .hack unless it's Kite, or Haseo. So I was very happy to do Elk, and he got such a good response, too! Definitely one of my favorite cosplays. <3
