I'm going to be doing a showing of some of my pet portrait work at a local coffee shop; and then taking pet portrait commissions to help earn money for Fort Wayne Pet Food Pantry. Its still being planned out...

but I thought it might be fun to make some pet & coffee themed art and maybe sell some small 5x7 prints or something, in case their are people who might want to contribute but don't have as much to spend on a pet portrait...

I'm not for certain of the coffee shop owner will want to do this or not.... but the idea of painting "Coffee Cat" has actually been in my head before all of this, so its been something I've wanted to paint for a while now anyways and it gave me and excuse to paint it XD

The breed of cat I based this on is called abyssinian cat, they don't normally have blue eyes like that, but I was looking at little kittens for my references and many baby animals have blue hue to their eyes that they grow out of. I liked it, so I may have emphasized it some.
