Unfortuately its a bit of a drive from were I am, it is amazing though and I wish i could get there more often. Its called Turkey Run State Park Its more southwest of were I am Closer to Indianapolis and Newport: here is a map: www.turkeyrunstatepark.com/loc…
there is also another nature perserve across from it called "The Shades" wich is pretty awesome too definately worth a visit :3

Sounds like a worthwhile trip indeed! It.. looks like a two hour
drive for me though, but to see that? I'd go at least five hours. But we Northerners
have beautiful sites too! Have you visited the lake as of recently on a
cloudless sunset? When the people have gone home from the
lowering temperatures, it truly is a remarkable sight.

Your right!
 I haven't been on the great lake recently, but I do love being close to water
 it is always a special feeling by the waters edge on the great lakes or by the ocean :3 
I really shouldn't complain though there are some really lovely areas around were i live too (I just miss seeing the rocks and canyons)
Have you ever visited Gene Stratton Porter's House and garden in Rome City,
Its very close to were i live and It is really beautiful there and located right on a small lake(well compared to the geat lakes anyways)
 and when wildflower woods is in full bloom in the summer it smells spectacular!
