This was a peice I did awhile back useing mixture of paint and pencil then scanned and tinted green with photoshop, I actually like the photoshop version better than the original. The creature is one of my own creation and she is (c) to me!Related content

Oh that is just beautiful. The contrasting halo light makes it all the more sweet. The highlights on the fur, and the character just look awesome!

Wow. I love the way this creature's moving! What do you call it? It looks like a gryphon-wolf hybrid of some sort, but mythology was never my strong point.

When I created this being I had in mind very close to what you mentioned, a dragon, gryphon, wolf hybrid sort of creature. The creature I would most likely be if I could be anything I wanted (therefore the creature has become rather spiritual, symbolic, and somewhat of a obsession) once created the being though I decided that it wouldn't just be a hybrid and that it would be a race in its own, with its own culture and such, I had planned to base a story off them and have done some short writeings on them but I am not satisfied with any of them quite yet, and wish to do a novel on them someday if I ever get the time(not that it would be good enough to be published though, but just for my own sake) Thats probably more than you really wanted to know

Actually, now you've got me even more interested 
And, about getting published, a lot of garbage makes it onto the stands, so don't be so sure about not being good enough to be published. Everything appeals to someone, you know.
