I feel like I'm always starting projects and taking forever to finish them... anyways this is something I started some time ago. back in ...2008-2009 or something like that I illustrated a children's book my mom wrote. My tablet at the time wasn't that great and had no pen pressure, and I didn't feel like I could afford a new one. I was kinda bummed by how not good my digital art was looking and kinda bummed in general. I ended up illustrating it mostly traditional mixed media(but a lot of colored pencils). Anyways around 2017 I got a new tablet and started experimenting with new art programs as well (was using a really dated version of photoshop) I decided I wanted to go back and re-illustrate the book, because I liked how much better my digital art was looking and improving ... if you remember this was my first redraw for the project: www.deviantart.com/shadowind/a…

Anyways I burnt out for a while and stopped working on it...but this is an illustration page for that project. Sometimes I don't feel very focused.... I feel like my mind comes up with too many concepts at once while in the midst of working on a few other things... and there is just too much to work on and not enough time and energy to do it... anyways I know I haven't been posting much or been online streaming at all really, and it doesn't seem like I'm doing much of anything lately.... but I have still been working on art when i can. I think with the extra heat lately this summer its been tough too, it really drains me cleaning the barn when its 90 degrees or + out.
