Like an old photograph,
Our affection has faded with time,
Barely visible under dirty fingerprints,
Lost among too many
    D a r k
Memories.

We can't recapture
Shining moments alone,
I don't mean to sound cliché,
But I hope that one day,
When looking through
F o r g o t t e n
Albums,
We can find the old photograph
That once sat proud in its frame.

I admit I made some
    T e r r i b l e
Mistakes,
I have no excuses
And can only say I regret making them,
Apologies will not mend the broken,
But, for now,
It's all I can do.
