Description
Woo, more fancomics from Tegaki 8DThis one isn't as impacting in my opinion. xD Just wanted to doodle a concept of Konan seeing the Deva Path for the first time, and how awkward it may be for both of them.
But the whole Image of God thing-- it was Yahiko who took initiative to rule the world and bring it peace, you know? Keeping his body, and putting his image out to the world instead of his own-- I think that's the tribute Nagato was giving his friend. Yahiko wanted the 'glory' so Nagato is giving it to him through him.
Tragic.
Anyway, wow, LETS THINK DEEPER ON NARUTO, LOL.
I love these two so much anyway, such an intriguing past for both of them.
Konan and Nagato/Pein [Deva Path] belong to Kishimoto-saaan.
Image is miiiine from the user name Fetch on Tegakie.com, but feel free to use it for anything <: Just let me know so I can see!

Oh wow; I have to say, you've got QUITE a knack for sketching out Ame-themed comics. Each time I see one of these, I wish I had the time to write a fan-fiction surrounding your little slices of life, death, and rebirth.
Give me a few weeks and I will, but anyway...
Please keep doing these. I love them!

Thank you! <3
I'd love to see whatever you have to write. I try writing fanfics, but my literature skills have deteriorated as I've gone further down the path of storyboarding/comics. I definitely will be keeping up with them (:
Support is a great motivator
Thanks again!

Hey, no problem. I'm actually more of a fiction writer than a storyboarder/comic writer. I've gotten very good reviews in the past for my work and sometimes...well...it's near impossible to find a good piece in a sea of crack and poorly-written fiction. Hopefully, I can deliver!
Your storyboarding is absolutely amazing, though. You deserve my applause and the applause of several others.

ahgosh that's flattering thank you x3<3
haha, I find it hard to really 'stand' anywhere in a fandom, since I like picking out characters and developing them more than it seems, in this case, Kishimoto ever will, whereas people who do crack get way more popular.
Ah well. I'm having fun with it, and people are enjoying what I put out, so that's all that matters to me <:
If you ever have any ideas for them that you'd like to see in a comic form or whatever, I'd be interested to try it out!

Ah, now this may be worth looking into! I DO have an idea I wanted to work on (I'm a Psychology/Literary Studies double major well into my third year of college) involving what I like best...character development and suspense. Kishimoto truly had the potential to turn the Ame story into a complex, compelling tale, but he took the quick way around. He's been rushing ever since the Sasori arc concluded. >>
Once the papers come to an end over here, I was aiming to get inside Konan's head, as well as Nagato's, tracking psychological footprints through their previous behavior to their current behavior. Nagato's a melancholic character, but Konan just came off as cold, detached, and avoidant for the majority of her finale. She's calm when she departs, not shedding a single tear as she leaves with the bodies of her comrades. So, what I aimed to do was get inside her head...
...and perhaps place Nagato's situation as far more depressing than Kishimoto attempted, eat at him from the inside out with grief and survivor's guilt. Konan in here, however, is showing a more manipulative and vengeful side. Nagato's all she has left, so she therefore cares about him...but she's also there to make sure he never gets a moment's peace for allowing Yahiko to die.
I'm still toying with the outline, but I do think I can turn this into a suspenseful, and disturbingly in-character piece.

Yeah, I feel that way too, which is unfortunate. All the Akatsuki have potential for complex backgrounds in my opinion, but I'm more interested in the Amenin [of course, haha], since they were just warped freedom fighters rather than criminals looking for personal gain in world domination.
As much as I would have liked to see more with the Ame story, it is Naruto's tale, unless there was some way to weave in their story to help further along Naruto's, it's not necessary. Just gives fans a chance to put out their own theories >v>
I'm an animation major, and currently in my thirdyear as well, but I really want to pursue comics and character design. xD I just figured taking that route for a major will get me closer to that goal than a Fine Arts major would in this university.

Ah, you're probably right. I'm actually our literary magazine's Literary Editor this year, so I'm getting some editing credit while I search for graduate schools. For the time being, I'm doing my best to get some funding for a graduate program. The largest goal I have involves becoming a professor (focusing on Psychoanalytic Literary Theory), but I wouldn't exactly snub an editing job, if one came around. I know DC comics was looking for another editor last summer; a friend sent me the ad, just to take a gander. >>
My college is rather small and doesn't offer an animation program, but that's really cool. ^-^ Ah, well, by the middle of next month, I'll have about a whole month of free time to do some writing (hooray). If you'd be interested in perhaps working on any sort of collaborative project, please let me know.

Ha ha; yeah, I know the feeling (only my commissions consist of making plushies). The end of semester pinch is never anything fun, no matter what your major(s) or credit hour load happens to be. XD
