Kersti from Paper Mario: Sticker Star, In a paper style as opposed to her shiny sticker texture.Recently got Sticker Star. In my opinion, it's better than what I expected. However, I feel like it is not up to par with the previous installments. It breaks my heart that there are no partners, besides Kersti. Also, I HATE how much they changed the combat. The sticker system is tedious, annoying, and completely unnecessary. Still a good looking game with nice dialogue and character design.

If they do make a fourth Mario & Luigi game, then something tells me that Metaboss (sorry, but up to this day, I still absolutely refuse to call him "Midbus") would end up being the main villain, kind of like how Fawful did after he originally started out as Cackletta's servant.

Though I tend to agree with most of what you're saying and see where you are coming from, but it's honestly not a bad game. It's overly simplified is what it is. It could have been so much better than what it is.
However, I am still enjoying it. It's one of those games that you have to play to appreciate. You can't completely judge it from an outside perspective and only as a fan of the original series. I thought I would hate it too, but as I continue to play it, I am thoroughly enjoying it despite it's flaws.

The game is actually really enjoyable. it was very different, but a unique twist to the series. watching footage dosent mean ANYTHING at all. don`t knock it until you try it

Not necessarily. I've seen just about all I needed to see. Plus, there was an interview which revealed that Shigeru Miyamoto, of all people, was single-handedly responsible to ruining the series to this degree. For some stupid reason, he thought it was a good idea to just take everything that the previous three games established (partners, original enemy species, deep, story-driven plots, etc.) and just throw it out the window. By taking away so many things that made the Paper Mario series what it is (or was), Miyamoto has pretty much signed its death warrant.
