Oh man, this is really neat! I really like the inclusion of even the Fake Beanstar, really nice attention to detail as well! 
Although I noticed the Starslap-like enemies and got reminded of something - what about the Starkiss enemies from Superstar Saga? It's not a complaint, just something I noticed. Also, I just realized I haven't watched you yet, even though I thought I did. I'll go and do that now

This is really breathtaking, all these star sitting on this night-sky background, they really stand out well!
My personal favorite are the Snow Spirits, they really look well in the Paper Mario style.Β
