don't know about festive, i don't really get that feeling when looking at this. i do think that it looks pretty damn fantastic though.
the purple/pink hue has been used well, it looks well balanced in all ways. the lighter colours down the centre is a well done and cool-looking effect. the small vertical line going to the circular explosion thing also looks cool
there's a lot of detail in this, it seems like an incredible amount of work. i am impressed... great work.

This is a great pic, the colours are enchanting. I love the pinkperplish edges in it.
