Very very veeeeeery late to this train, though it's here now. Never mind XD I've loved the KFP series for years now, Lord Shen always being my favourite villain, so therefore, have made an oc based on the second movie ^^
Safe to say Solo-Swift watched my slow descent into this today..... There was shouting involved XD

Since Lord Shen's failed plan, surrounded with death and destruction, peacocks and peahens are now frowned upon severely in China. Those that are still roaming around are rounded up and put into slavery, with zero tolerance on their behaviour. They have a strict set of rules to adhere to, must be seen and not heard, as well as have their talons dulled and their feathers clipped. Any peacock/hen to step out of line would get severely beaten, and that sometimes resulted in death. This continues over the next several years, the species beginning to dwindle, and to die out.

Lìxúe was born the daughter to the slave female of the house, the father unknown but thought to have been another slave of a visiting family in the neighborhood. The slave's master was not impressed with her pregnancy, and considered casting out the pregnant hen to suffer the winter elements outside. Though, as the Peahen pleaded for her own life, the master seemed to come around, reasoning that the baby could be raised as the perfect slave. Lìxúe was born in the Spring, and grew fast, turning out to be a polite and well educated chick, learning fast and able to carry out many tasks at once. The master was pleased with this development, and once Lìxúe was old enough, he had her mother sold to a brothel. Lìxúe never had a chance to say goodbye, the master leaving with her mother one morning, and returning in the late evening without her. Lìxúe was to be the main slave of the house now, despite her young age, and to keep all the other Peacocks/hens in line.

At first, Lìxúe never knew of her mothers fate, until she was out in the market one morning a couple of years later, overhearing her mothers name. She slowed her pace, listening to the conversation of two males that had spoken, both laughing as they described how the peahen had begged for life after she had been accused of thieving and committing black magic, right before she had been finished off. And the main reason for her being accused? That she was simply a Peahen. Anger began bubbling though the young bird, storming back home after learning further where her mother had gone and the torture she suffered. Something changed in the heart of the young female at this point, a plan forming in her mind.

She knew all of her masters habits... gathering her fellow slaves and admitting her plan, surprised to have their support. A couple were anxious, though so desperate to break free, they agreed. Poison was slipped into their masters night time meal, and they watched as the large pig began choking and gasping for air... though to no avail. He died soon after, laying on the floor, his food spilled about him. With that, the slaves escaped into the night, finally free of the bonds that held them down. Though Lìxúe was only just beginning.

When she was younger, Lìxúe's mother had told her of all the stories of Lord Shen... and how his failure and greedy behavior put them in the very chains they where in now. Lìxúe had always been fascinated by the stories, imagining a great war, and wondering how one could be so consumed by hate... She had a long time ago blamed her miserable life on him. She found her heart also turn to hate.... but to Lord Shen. It was rumoured he was alive... not yet dead. It was said that he was still in hiding, still in China... somewhere. She made a promise to her mother that night.... she would find Lord Shen, and put an end to him. For all Peacock kind... Everyone that had ever suffered thanks to him.

It is now, as she trains to become a deadly assassin, freeing slaves and gathering a secret organization... she fights for the mistreated in her mothers name. And one day... she hopes for her path to lead to Lord Shen.
