Description
- Good night, sweet prince…
—
Why can’t Constantin become a druid or a new shaman of epic quality (instead of the one I’ve killed)? Just… Why.

Yes, guilty, I've added blur twice. First one was the tricorn (to make it appear closer), then there went surroundings. Blurs together started looking strange. We're looking from above at De Sardet bending over Constantin.
Thank you

Thank you)
I tried to accept Constantin's offer first time but it appeared to be a bad ending, which broke the world and Vasco's heart. So I'd changed my decision and killed Constantin for the good, but it still felt wrong and heart-wrenching. He just wanted to live but instead was stripped of everything.
I saw an opinion that Constantin was actually dead by the endgame, that creature was just imitating him in a way. That explains strange behavior and decisions like not sending help to allies. The only thing left was his care for De Sardet. It, kind of, makes things easier.
De Sardet is not calm here, she's crying for both of them

All the line of "he was sick, so he went mad" appeared to be very weak for me. Like someone became lazy on script.
Yes, Constantin was underestimated, unloved by father, pressed to go to Tir Fradee, then he got malichor, but he wasn't that weak. He got back from dead, all life and cheer and power. What to do? Destroy everything for good. Why? What for? How will you even get back to Serene to do that (okay, let them rot with malichor)? Why do you start to kill natives and their land (now and later)? The last one is the main question - mad and seeking revenge Constantin ruins everything around without thinking twice and any reasoning, but he tries to reason with De Sardet on... on destroying everything De Sardet was fighting for precisely for the sake of Constantin. So I went for another explanation I needed at least something logical.
He could just become new god or second god without any dreadful consequences. Maybe the idea was that malichor from Constantin's body poisoned the land...
