"Says you. Things can change in a moment in such a chaotic play, like feathers in the wind."
"Speaking of feathers, you have a feather and I don't see in you that 'manly obliteration' you claim, Kuja."
"That's because, unlike you, I don't need to be manly to be the shiniest star in the villain cast of this saga."

A friend of mine gave me this idea while we were talking about a game of truth or dare I'm writing with the characters of Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2 and the Team Rocket trio. Since in the game Lightning taunts Caius constantly about being gay, my friend suggested Caius took his stylism lessons from Kuja. I broke into laughter and, well, since the reveal of Lightning's outfit for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII I kept saying her half-skirt is inspired by Kuja's attire.

And, well. So here's Kuja's stylism lessons for both Lightning and Caius!

It's my first time drawing both Kuja and Caius. I didn't pay too much attention to Caius but I focused in Kuja because he's my favorite villain of Final Fantasy. I'm really pleased with how he ended.

I've drawn Lightning before, of course, but this is my first real take on her newest outfit. I think I managed to get it right.

Done by pencil, a bit arranged by Photoshop.

So, hope you like it!

And no, I can't resist to Hope/Lightism, is beyond my will.
