Description This was originally the only kind of pregnant Kagome that I was going to draw before convinced me of the contrary.

This one is based on some edited official art that has been around the net for a while. Of course, it's meant to take place once Inu-Yasha and friend's quest is over and they can ask for a purifying wish to the jewel.

At first I couldn't think of a reason for Kagome to want being a Hanyou (I'm not really too much of a fan of the idea), but now I guess that becoming one would help her to live longer so she woudln't die on Inu-Yasha when she gets older than him quicker.

The rest is in the picture.

Are they? I admit I have not finished the manga (nor the anime for that matter). I believe that if I did, I could potentially lose the little drive I still have to finish a bunch of drawings I want to complete about the characters (one of them being very, very large).

I would read the manga first, the anime always has a bunch of unnecessary plots that they use to extend there profit. Plus Manga = no commercials

Heh. It wasn't any jewel making her pregnant, that's what Inu-Yasha is here for XD. What the image actually means, is that the body granted to her by the jewel had a different fertility rate than that of a normal human.

Do a google search for the edited art I mentioned in the "Artist's Comments". It shouldn't be difficult to find. I also have seen it for sale as keychains at some comic conventions. Of course, being just an edit of official art, the kids don't look highly convincing but still you'd get an (a fan's) idea.
