~Point Outs~
Ayer does not have her upper gliders/ Tailfins. she can still fly quite well though. She also has purple spots on her ears and the tendrils on her head. (may be hard to see if on a phone/tablet)

~Personality~
Ayer is a mostly happy Nightfury. but due to her past she can become quite an angry and grumpy female.

~Backstory~
From a young age, Ayer has had a tough life. when she was only a few weeks old, she was abandoned in the forest because she lacked upper tailfins. She was seen as different, cursed, an outclanner to her family and group. Ayer managed to survive the first two years of her life, finding fish and other meat to eat, even having the occasional green or two if there was no meat. she observed other dragons, but stayed away as she didn't know what they were.
but one fateful night, her life was changed forever. trappers found her hiding sanctuary and trapped her. tying her up they dragged her onto a ship filled with other dragons to be transported to a island to be trained for war. slave dragons to do the viking's job.
a few years past, and Ayer was now 6. her first few years were relentless and merciless. taught to hate other dragons and kill without mercy or fear. lessons learnt if she didnt obey the rules of her master, Drago Bludvist. she had disobeyed him when she was younger, and learnt a painful lesson. he had struck her on the shoulder with his staff, creating two scars to remind her what the consequences will be.
by now Ayer had a collar and tailring, symbolizing that she belonged to Drago. as the years past Ayer grew to be one of Drago's top fighters, and was in his elite war dragon group, the backup if things went wrong. Ayer had gone from a little, scared dragon into a cold, souless killer. but she knew deep down this was not her..but it wasn't her choice. it was get the job done, or be killed. never back down or die.
Ayer was 12 and in a battle with a deadly nadder, one of Drago's best fighters that had turned against him, when the nadder clawed Ayer's forhead, therefore igniting the fire inside her, the blind rage. after that the nadder was reduced to shreds. as Drago and his armada moved on, Ayer knew it was her opportunity to escape. so she fled and was rogue for years, keeping as far away from dragons and humans alike, as she could.
after a few years on her own, she came across the Isle of Berk, and a few of her own species, when she thought she was alone her whole life. after being spotted, the Nightfuries followed her, trying to get to know her. that's when she met her sister, Nightshade, after all those years of not knowing she had a family. the similarities between the two could only signify that they were related. Ayer settled down on Berk with her new family and friends, still a bit wary of the other dragons, and still hating the humans, never allowing any to ride her or touch her, or even get close.
after a year on Berk, Ayer had a mate, Echo, and an adorable daughter, Amelia, plenty of friends on this island. she had put her past behind her, but it still lingered in the back of her mind, waiting for the right moment to resurface. And she has a war that she is fighting inside herself, not to harm or kill any dragon or human...her family and friends...
