anyway, here's aresss! he reminds me of kyo from fruits basket. he's got a real temper...in fact he doesn't really get along with anyone in the group. aphrodite is obsessed with him, though, and he's secretly grateful for that, even though on the outside he acts as though he's annoyed by her attention. she's the only one who makes him feel like he's wanted. the others like him a lot too, they just don't know how to show it.
he's really conflicted inside. i mean, his own parents don't like him...that must suck. zeus is ashamed of ares' bad grades (A's in everything but choir; he gets a triple Z- in that class), and hera hates him because she hates everything and she's a bitch, to put it simply. >_> <.< >.<
ares stands back and watches the whole story unfold. he may not get a lot of *panel* time, but he catches everything that happens. he has yet to play a big part, and that's when hephestus shows up. he also plays an important role during the titan sequence.
i really like ares...he's fun to draw, and since he doesn't get a lot of scenes i think he's not that annoying...yet...i think it's good like that. i mean if he were to show up on every page in every scene then his constant grumbling and getting angry would grow old. so he's kinda just there.

even though he gets pissy at the most ridiculous things, he's actually very considerate. he knows how the group feels about certain things after seeing them react to almost everything they've been through. at christmas he knows just what everyone would want! he's a good guy.
