how can you have a story with calypso and odysseus and not include circe? X3
so she's pretty much the same as she was in the odyssey, but just a little flakier. she can't stand rudeness, and of course, she possesses the power to turn people into animals. she's still very poetic and charming, and at the same time helpful.
i always really liked circe and i'm excited to give her more scenes.
we watched a movie in english, i think it was called "o brother where art thou" or something...anyway it was the odyssey in western times. when odysseus (everett), the guy whose name i can't remember and the other guy, pete, ran into 3 singing girls, it's pretty much what happened in the book. 2 of the girls were sirens and the third, a pretty girl with long black hair, was circe. the guys fell asleep and when they woke up, pete was gone and in his place was a frog! it turned out not to be pete, but that's where i got the idea that circe should have a frog named pete. (i was mad that that was the only scene circe was in.)
circe is best friends with hermes (one-sided) because he tries to help her win odysseus over. little does she know that hermie is actually trying to save odie from circe's goddess-y powers, and that's where HOLY MOLY comes in! i guess.
she's a good target for teasing, because she always talks about animals. people call her "witch", like her odyssey reputation, and sooner or later she's going to snap and one of those bullies is going to turn into a pig or something. XD
also! she has the BEST happy face that NEEDS to be posted. so i will.
