i'm soooooo HAPPYYYYY that the second half of the season started!!!! it's going to be AWWWWWESOMMME! vogue was the most amazing thing i've ever seen, brittany and santana are totally dating, i hate jessie at the moment (you could already tell he was a sleaze), and kurt's expression when finn was singing totally made my day. 
this was fun...worked on it all day yesterday during classes. >.> XD it's pink because it's on the back of a science assignment, DUH!

But, I seriously DO think that Finn and Kurt COULD end up together... It's just a matter if the writers have the gall to do so. I think Finn honestly is confused about his sexuality... Just because he doesn't out right say it doesn't mean that it isn't probable. I think there are DEFINITELY clues... Seriously.

Awww! I don't think he is dumb. I just think he is going through the "awkward teenage boy" phase...But, lately, I think they have been making him out to be "dumb" on purpose and that upsets me a lot.
Errr... I don't think so. I think people really do like Jesse and Rachel...And if Jesse proves himself not to be using her then I don't think that people will have a reason to hate them together.

Well, for me, I've been like...50/50 about it happening on the show...Seriously.
I figured it COULD happen (because there ARE teens in the world who ARE CONFUSED/QUESTIONING about their sexuality...It is a normal thing...)...Even if Finn didn't "seem" like it... Who knows? We KNOW that he is a very confused/slow character in general, honestly, I think he COULD/MIGHT have the potential to be Bi, or EVEN GAY.
I think it is honestly a matter of if the script writers have the balls to do it.
Like, haven't you heard of stories about men who DENY their sexuality their whole lives...Keeping it stowed away... Telling themselves that they are straight when their mind is (subconsciously) telling them that they are NOT?
Men go through marriages with wives, and, then break up years later, because they discover that they are gay (or even bi), and they want to pursue a different lifestyle.
Brokeback Mountain is a perfect example....
"Oh yeah...I'm not gay/bi... I'm better then that...So I'll get married and have kids..."
Later:
"Oh no...I realize that I am gay/bi...I can't live like this..."
...So it wouldn't surprise me in the least! He paused for A LONG time when Kurt proclaimed his love for him...Who knows what was going through his head at the time...
I'm not even really going to be 100% sure that Finn is straight when/if he ends up with a girl in the end...Because, well, teens just don't know... It is in human nature to be confused about a lot of things...Heck...I'll come out and say it... I was POSITIVELY SURE for 6 years, that I was bi (no question...I just felt that way...)...I was attracted to both sexes. I was in a relationship with a girl... I felt like I HAD LEGIT FEELINGS for her... But, then, those "attracted to girls" feelings went away... I don't deny that I HAD FEELINGS FOR HER...Because love is love is love no matter how you slice and dice it.
It happens... You know?
I think there are different instances with teen sexuality (interchangeably used...In conjunction with one another, even...):
1. Confident about sexuality...You just KNOW... No question...It is in your blood... You are gay/straight...
2. Confused about sexuality... You don't know... You (subconsciously) might have feelings for the same/different sex...
3. Rejecting Sexuality: You reject the idea that you are gay/bi..."Just NO...I'm STRAIGHT, I KNOW I am."...You stow these feelings away, (to be unearthed at a different time...)...You are in denial...
For all we know... Finn could be number 1, number 2 or number 3...Maybe he is number 2 and 3. Again. It would NOT surprise me... Like I said, Finn is a very confused/slow character, naturally (but I still love him for that)...Think of all the pressures that he has to deal with as a student...And as one of a popular kid...A LOT of pressure... Especially with image... Heck, he saw it EVERYDAY when "his gang" would harass Kurt... Do you THINK he wants to maybe, acknowledge those feelings he MIGHT have?! Hell no.
Hmmm... That reminds me of that scene in the "Pilot"...Why would he offer that small act of chivalry in keeping Kurt's jacket for him...? Maybe, because, subconsciously (very, very, very deep rooted, down in the back of his mind...), he might KNOW that...That could be HIM...
Three things I've learned about Finn from watching Glee:
1. He is a confused/slow person.
2. He wants to be popular and "perfect".
3. He wants to make his mother proud of him.
Now, what I'm going to talk about illustrates all of these ideas...
For example; take a look at this picture. You might recognize it as "that scene" from "Ballad"...Upon glancing at that picture for the first time you might think..."Oh yeah, you know... He is TOTALLY frowning..."

BUT: I noticed upon cropping the picture (into an avatar) that Finn is INDEED smiling...(Or am I just crazy...? I don't think so!).

Now why would Finn have a half smile/frown on, you ask?
I think this could easily be conveying Finn's subconscious feelings for Kurt...
The half smile accounts for his mind subconsciously telling him to pursue it...
The half frown would account for the pressure upon himself, that by society's standards (his peers and assuming that his mother would be one of them...), these feelings would be "wrong"... And, of course he is scared to confront these feelings if it could make him out to be "different", in a "not accepted by society/perfect" way...(Or what society has made him believe)...Because, he wants to be the perfect popular "golden boy/son" that he has been made out to be by his friends, himself, and his mother.
Also, it could account for his confused feelings that he, ("may, or may not, have") these feelings for Kurt... As a confused/naturally slow teenage boy.
Not to mention the "conveniently placed" beam of light that just HAPPENS to be shining down and almost illuminating Kurt's hand...Another coincidence?...How interesting...

first off, yeah, i think he's pretty dumb. and i mean that in the most affectionate way possible. he's just so purely honest, and most of the time the things he says are true, they're just awkward and not too well thought out. he can say mean things but it doesn't get you mad at him, you just feel like you should listen to him and any advice he may have. when rachel gets upset with him she makes it a fact that he did something wrong, but it always seems to me that she wants to make up right away and forget it ever happened.
now about the whole "teens don't know"...i know plenty of teens who do know, me included. of course i've thought about it before, and considered it, but whenever i picture myself in a relationship with a girl, i feel kind of sick. being a girl i know what we want in relationships (for the most part, i know what i want even though i'm not interested in dating yet, thanks to the horrible boys at my school), and i'm not sure i could supply that for a girl. kind of like, i want to be asked to a dance. i don't want to have to ask someone else. he can find ME. XD
so yeah, some people know it, some people really don't.
finn may think he knows it, but i don't think so. he's just too awkward to convince me that he's got it all under control. from what i've seen, he feels SOMETHING for kurt, there is obviously a vibe between them. but it's indescribable at the moment. i can't tell what the heck is going on with them now... >.> so that SOMETHING that he feels could be romance, or something completely different. i dunno, i sometimes get the "big brother/little brother" vibe from them. affectionate but not always getting along, and obviously not open with each other. and now that they're going to be step brothers, a lot more is going to happen between them and who knows what it's going to be.
but blah blah blah, i just want kurt to have a boyfriend. XD XD

I certainly see your point, and I think Mr. Murphy has had the idea from the beginning for Finn and Kurt to be a part of each other's lives whether they become like brothers, or lovers, even. I think the idea of "fate" in the Ballad episode was certainly not just there coincidentally, I mean, that might sound far fetched but, this is "Glee", we are talking about, crazy, crazy Glee. Hehe.
Haha. I think we all do! Hopefully it won't just be a fling, 'cuz I think Kurt has had to deal with a lot of sh...Stuff. In his life already. I'd just HATE for him to get used like that... I mean, that's kind of what I think of, when I think of Puck and how he treats his girls, no offense if you like Puckurt, but, yeah... That's kinda what doesn't attract me to Puckurt initially. But, I suppose Finn has his moments too... Ahhh...
Dumb teenage boys and their antics. However, I think Finn has it in him if he were to just find "the one"...My idea is that that person perhaps would be found in Kurt. Heh...Butttttt... I suppose Finn still has some maturing to do...
But, you know...In the back nine he HAS made some HEFTY mistakes, but, slowly and surely, he is learning and hopefully, I think, growing.

from what i've learned watching glee, almost everything i THINK is going to happen...doesn't happen. it's the kind of show where you think, "oh god THAT could be screwed up...and THEY won't date for very long..." and so on, but it really doesn't happen. seriously, i thought burt and finn's mom (forgot her name at the moment) would break up in one episode. but nope. <3

Yes... I do see... But, I CAN'T help thinking about during one of the times he was supposed to be SPENDING TIME with Quinn he was SEXTING SANTANA... Lying! AND Cheating?!...When he KNEW she was pregnant with HIS child!
That, for me... Ugh... That pretty much sealed the deal for me... I dunno, I just... Think he might NEVER snap out of his sexcapade... And, with Rachel, he was CLEARLY using her, too... He was pissed that she wouldn't let him grab her chest, for christ sake.

But yet, that HASN'T stopped the slashiness from ensuing on the Nickolodeon show, "Drake and Josh"... HECK... IT IS A KIDS SHOW... AND THEY'VE CANONLY MADE OUT ON SCREEN A BUNCH OF TIMES...SO WHY NOT GLEE?!...

see i like puckurt as much as i like kinn, and that's....more than life itself right now. so i really hope there isn't much of a huge rivalry between the two. that would be horrible!
i've read a lot of fanfictions about kurt and puck, and it seems to me like they'd be quite good for each other. very unlikely but i still like to imagine what it'd be like. and what you said about how you feel about puck? i 101% feel exactly the same. i was beginning to tolerate him in the beginning of that episode, but then he went and cheated and lied. so i hated him for that. right now i only seem to like him when he's singing. 
finn's line at the end of the episode KIND of made up for his calling kurt a fag...but still, just the other day i was thinking about it and all of a sudden it hit me--finn is becoming that overprotective big brother (or more) that i always thought he'd be!! i love it!! hopefully they won't fight anymore. it broke my heart in three pieces when they yelled at each other in that episode...i cried when burt made that speech to finn...but he so deserved it. >.<

Finn, for saying those words to Kurt (if anything, he most CERTAINLY could've used nicer language!)...But, I suppose, if you look at it from the A. Finn is straight standpoint or, the B. Finn is confused/angry/upset about his sexuality standpoint. I'd imagine either ways would be difficult/uncomfortable to be facing... I mean, look at it from the A. Finn is straight standpoint, then, yes, I could imagine Finn would feel uncomfortable shacking up with someone of the same gender/different gender whom you KNEW were interested in you, but not them...

Again, NOT to say that calling Kurt the "F" word WASN'T spiteful and hateful and wrong... He just, disn't know what to do at that point. He exploded... I mean, people MAKE MISTAKES... That is what makes us human, you know?...I mean, haven't you ever hurt someone's feelings, said something you didn't mean to...? I know I have...But, you ONLY hurt the one's you love, am I right? I'd like to think that is the same in Finn's case...But, who knows? You've also got to remember, they are JUST KIDS... Both Finn and Kurt have A LOT of growing up to do!
On the other hand, from the b standpoint of B. Finn is sexually confused standpoint...(Maybe he is questioning...). I mean, if you THINK, just THINK about what kind of a person Finn is... Naturally slow(?)/confused person... MAYBE he is confused about his sexuality and doesn't know what to do with himself and this whole shacking up with Kurt scenario is forcing himself to confront his sexuality...And the fear/rage/confusion, that comes along with it.
That's what I think... But, that is just me. I'd say, if you know where/how to look for these clues, it might as well be blatantly staring at you in the face... I could easily explain but it might take me a while because I'd have to explain each and every episode, basically. MandoIneedtogetalife...*facepalm*
So, Finn stepped out of line, and so did Kurt, just AS LONG as they learn from their mistakes then that is what is important!...
I think, ultimately, that was what the episode was about... Not shoving the whole..."Finn was wrong, Kurt was right" standpoint, but the standpoint that they were BOTH WRONG.
Sorry if I am coming off to strong, I really hope I am not, but, that's just what I believe...
Maybe I AM thinking too much about a TV show, but, I just feel such a connection to these characters that I just think it is hard NOT to think about these things!

man, i know how you feel. i love these characters. i don't think i've ever cared so much for characters as i do now. 
hmmm...i don't know who to say is at fault there. i would say kurt was coming on to strong, but think about it. back in "ballads", did finn really openly show his discomfort around kurt? nooo. i actually thought they were becoming friends. in a way, it was like he was making it seem like he didn't mind that kurt was crushing on him, and kurt may have noticed. why else would he get the courage to say, "call me" and *indirectly* tell him "i honestly love you"??! cause finn led him on, that's why! well not completely, but still, if he KNEW that kurt liked him and if he realized he was uncomfortable, he could've just confronted him about it NICELY (or just calmly), and then it probably wouldn't have been much of a problem. (or at least, not as big as it was later.)
i say it's more finn's fault for not doing something about it earlier. as soon as he heard that he'd be staying with kurt in "home", he immediately started yelling at him. was that necessary? kurt has never done ANYTHING to hurt finn, but it looked like finn made a habit out of that. and because he suddenly had an outburst of his feelings MUCH LATER THAN HE SHOULD HAVE, it made things much worse for both of them and caused this "who's right?" thing.
so i say "shut up finn, you don't deserve kurt!" XD
but man, he doesn't like finn no mores.

Well, I think, for the most part Finn redeemed himself... I, myself, was depressed after the episode airred... And mad at Finn, and upset with Glee... But, I started thinking about what my parents said about the BOTH of them being at fault, and what other people said about it being BOTH of their faults, and, I've... Been giving Finn another chance. YES, I DO think that Finn redeemed himself, (or, at least BEGUN to), in his own way, for what he did...Like I said, unfortunate shit happens, such is life... Glee is trying to portray how people can easily MAKE MISTAKES, do stupid shit, hurt the ones they care about... But, in the long run, (like it often is in life), Finn APOLOGIZED to Kurt... Sometimes, I just, even find myself wishing that Season 1 ended at sectionals, with the (fairly) light hearted-ness of the show...(Maybe I just wont finish out the season with the box set)... But, like it or lump it, Glee has changed...
But, like I've heard this being said before if Kurt REALLY loves Finn, which, I think he really very well might..."You ONLY forgive the ones you love"... If we see that happen between Finn and Kurt, or, Kurt specifically, then I will be happy... And, from what I've heard, Kurt "pursues Finn TO THE MAX", in season two...So, I think he does. ;D

well first of all, i still want to marry finn and i love the hell out of him. it didn't change my impression of the boy at all. i was just shocked at how quickly he lost his temper at something he could've most likely prevented. i too was depressed and upset, and it gave me mixed feelings on what led up to that. his dressing up in the awesome curtain did, the way i see it, make up for when he angrily told kurt he should just try harder to blend in. it did NOT in ANY WAY make up for what he said to him later. the thing is, i'm still really angry at finn for those things he said, making a big deal out of things that are not big at all. (flirting, staring, blah blah blah) unless he has a horrific phobia of being admired and looked at, then really, why make it sound so horrible.
woo! i actually thought it was cool how he and santana did it. i mean, EW, the couple stinks, but just how it was so meaningless and it was something she can ignore and he can feel like, "man i will NEVER do it for no reason again"...i mean, like he learned a valuable lesson and that he probably won't be bothered too much by it...or maybe it'll drive him nuts and he'll start hiring prostitutes...but this IS a family show, so...yeah don't worry about that.
well of course a crush doesn't automatically go away, but from the direction the show is going it just seems that he will at least try to back off a little...and probably for good once sam shows up. and sam BETTER be hot XD XD chris said that he had no idea what kurt's new bf was going to be like, only that he requested to be the better-looking of the two. XD i love chris.
they'd better have the balls to write in kissie-scenes for kurt and sam, because if they DON'T...i will seriously kill them. (also, where can i read about sam? i've only seen stuff about him on fan-sites, never from ryan or the people that work on the show...)
hmmmmmmmm well all this will be clear in season two, perhaps. probably not. you know how glee is.
